It’s Florida-Autumn here in Winnipeg right now (low 20s and sunny and dry-ish with the days getting visibly shorter), so I’m feeling a bit somber and reflective in a culturally-mandated-but-entirely-off-base kind of way. I’m waiting for a couple things before I can start working in earnest on getting my class ready for September, so I think I’m going to walk down to Michael’s to see if they’ve brought out the Halloween decorations yet and not buy any of them, and then I’m going to trawl online used bookstores for decommissioned library copies of old John Bellairs books (this is the closest thing that I have to a hobby besides “lying down” and “making art”).
