The date 22nd February 2022 was the most important day of the century. Do you know why? Of course, it’s a palindrome year. And drum roll, please. On this day, Dubai welcomed its most iconic landmark, the Museum of the Future. This landmark is claimed to be the world’s most beautiful building.

What is the Museum of the Future?

Museum of the Future is a place to experience what could be. Visitors are invited to explore immersive future environments designed to stimulate their senses and expand their minds. We aim to inspire every person who walks through our doors to become engaged and active participants in creating a better future.

Also, the elliptical shape structure has a hollow space in the middle and it sits on the grass. The entire structure is designed by architect o architect Shaun Killa. He wanted the structure to represent Dubai’s vision of the future. There are going to be 5 main exhibition floors. The 7th floor will have event space with an auditorium space on P3. And a lobby area on the ground floor.

The exterior is wrapped in Arabic calligraphy designed by Emirati artist Mattar bin Lahej. These lines reflect inspirational poetry by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai. That conveys three messages.

“We may not live for hundreds of years, but the products of our creativity can leave a legacy long after we are gone”;

“The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it. It isn’t something you await, but rather create”

“Innovation is not an intellectual luxury. It is the secret behind the evolution and rejuvenation of nations and peoples.”

And it’s the most interesting part of the design. Not only does it serve as a message but also windows to the interior of the building.

The location of the building is along the city’s superhighway, Sheikh Zayed Road. It is next to Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This structure is near Burj Khalifa.
