I have an Idea for an KND AU that's free for everyone to expand upon, since I'm busy with other projects, that sector Z returns but they at times transform into the Delightful children, and Vice Versa, it's essentially like dr jekyll and Mr hyde. (Yes, this inspired it)

Im almost done with season 2! ive skipped around a bit but officially i just need to watch the season finale (context for the gif, i have an episode idea in mind where Sector V gets stuck in the Delightful's mansion and get picked off (thrown out) one by one as they try to escape)

Thought it would be fun to put all five Sector Z Character Sheets in a single image, so all their names are in one place.

(Never forget them. They WILL return one day.)

I asked Todd Myers (who was a character designer on the series) about where their names came from, and he gave me some info on a few of them.

Lenny & Bruce are named for comedian Lenny Bruce. That was Mr. Warburton's idea. (I assume Lenny was named first in an earlier episode, and then Mr. Warburton thought it would be funny to name another of them Bruce) According to Mr. Myers, Constance was named that because he thought she looked like a Constance. David was somebody else's idea. Alessandra seems to be a complete mystery.

Mr Warburton announced on the Animation Heroes Podcast livestream that he's written a script for a Galactic Kids Next Door teaser and is planning to have the main cast read it live @ Nostalgia Con in August.

Got in a lot of Codename: Kids Next Door production art from Todd Myers, the show's character designer. All five of the original Sector Z designs. Three shots of Sector Z turning back into the Delightful Children. One Not-Warburton approved design of Constance without her hat. (That's what the red stamp means) A Xerox of Bruce's (inked) front sheet with his back design attached via post it note. I chatted a bit with Mr. Myers about these pieces & thought I'd share one particular piece of background info. Sector Z is partly based on the SLA (Symbionese Liberation Army), a far-left group from the mid 1970's, & more or less function as a reverse of what they (supposedly) did to Patty Hearst. Rebels brainwashed to be obedient, instead of the other way around. Last image is comparison between sizes of animation paper used at CN in 2001 vs 2006.
