Doom of Mandos
Honestly, I get why the Valar punished the Noldor
(With the kinslaying and all)
But something about the Doom of Mandos is soo funny or
better petty for me.
Like its so petty. "All of your kingdoms will fall, if you leave now".
Its basically the godly equivilant of a kid threatening another
kid to never invite them to their birthday again, because they
brought an insufficent gift. Lol

I put on a suit and tie and check myself in the mirror.
The evil clown living in my mirror emerges and hisses.
"You know what to do."
I sigh and put on the red glowing clown nose. I squeeze it. It honks.
The clown laughs satisfied and vanishes.
I shake my head and leave. Time for another inevitably doomed job interview.
"Geralt of Rivia is a Horse Girl!" I proclaim loudly.
A gasp goes through the crowd. I am immediately ceased by the guards.
"Wait. They are right!" A strong voice booms over the outrage. The guards and me look towards the speaker in disbelief.
There standing on a horse in full Witcher costume is Henry Cavill himself.
All elves in Middle Earth speak Sindarin much more than they speak Quenya by this time. Like, come on.

You are not completely wrong.
Most elves in middle-earth (The Sindar, which is why its called Sindarin) do speak Sindarin. However both Gil-galad and Galadriel are Noldor (High elves). You could make the argument that Gil-galad wouldn't speak Quenya, but it seems unlikely since he is literally the High-King of the Noldor Elves of Valinor.
In Galadriels case however it is just factually wrong for her to speak Sindarin. I'm not saying that she wouldn't be able to do it, but in this situation she most likely wouldn't do it (Since its a conversation between two High elves + Elrond)
Furthermore Galadriel is one of the only elves who explicitly speaks Quenya in LOTR; The Fellowship of the Ring in the Chapter: Farewell to Lothlorién (Chapter eight of the second book). She sings an entire song in Quenya.
I honestly believe, that she can speak Sindarin, but in this case she just wouldn't. It doesn't make any sense. Which was kind of my point.
For me it just goes to show that the show runners don't know the characters they are dealing with.
Also it is a very tiny nitpick. Believe me, there are bigger problems. Like the chronology of the forging of the rings.

Careful, spoilers
So... anyway... that happened I guess?
They really made Elrond kiss his Mother-in-law, huh?
And to no ones surprise the wizard guy is Gandalf.
Is the other one Saruman? Who knows?
Also why is Galadriel speaking Sindarin instead of Quenya?
Like guys... common?
The Balrog looked sick tho, so thats something.

Rings of Power
Watch out! Spoiler ahead (if you don't want to be spoiled stop here)
So, I watched Rings of Power and I got so mad.
Because...Like...Galadriels whole motivation doesn't make any
sense.
She says, that she is trying to avenge her brothers death and is super
sad about it right? Then why does she jump from the ship, that was supposed to bring her to Valinor? The place where her brother LITERALLY IS STILL ALIVE????
Like this is so illogical and makes her an unlikable hypocrite.
Also we did get a death scare for ISILDUR? fucking Isildur? And for Celeborn too? Like what?
The people writing the show obviously know nothing about the lore and how it works (otherwise they wouldn't have put GANDALF??? with the fake Hobbits thousands of years before he is supposed to arrive???)
Yeah this show makes me mad. Excited to bash the second season and already in fear of how they might ruin it XD
Allergies

Banishment
So I was thinking about the Silmarillion and especially everyones favourite problem child Feanor, when I remembered his banishment.
To remind you he is banned from Tirion because he raised his weapon etc. right? And then they proceed to bannish him for 12 years.
Seems reasonable enough! But...
Like...Feanor is an elve. To quote Thranduil: 100 years is a mere moment for an elve. 12 are like what? Maybe five minutes.
Like from a human perspective that surely is quite a punishment but for elves it is like being set into a time-out-chair for like five or ten minutes.
No wonder he didn't change his ways.
