Survey123 for ArcGIS is perhaps, one of those applications that superficial nerds like me would like; itâs easy to configure, kiddie-level degree of customization with âcodingâ (for that fragile ego-stroke) and user-friendly template to use.Â
No app development/coding experience is required to publish a survey form and believe it or not, you can, personalize your survey to not look so meh.Â

I was a hopeless worker when I worked with one of the estate company in one of the tough town in Malaysia. Only survive for 3 months (in hell).. Blame me for choosing this path. For didnât think straight when I accept the offer to work as an admin assistant with my freshly hot and soupy certificate. Nevertheless, lesson learn. I know myself now. I can't survive in an alienated place without proper food, proper entertainment, proper internet connection (sapa juak boleh survive? Lol), and proper people with good humanity.. Never regret those experiences..but still feel creepy when my mind reminds me of how my life was there. And I thanked my ex. He brings me a birthday cake from Kuching to Sibu. At least, that's the only sweet thing I can remember from my estate life experience. p/s: I still a hopeless worker.

To set symbol levels across several layers, group the layers together. Then set the levels for all those layers via the groupâs properties > Group Tab > Symbol LevelsâŚ

To create an inset map (a mini map that magnifies an area of the main map), copy all the layers of the main data frame and paste those layers into a new data frame. (Alternatively, copy the main data frame and paste it via toolbar or by right-clicking the workspace in Layout View. For some reason you canât paste directly with ctrl-v or by right-clicking the Table of ContentsâŚ.)
In the Properties of your main data frame, go to the Extent Indicators tab and add the data frame of your inset map. In the Options box, click the Frame⌠button to customize how the inset indicator box looks like on the main map.
In Layout View, you can adjust the extent, position, etc., of your inset map like any other data frame. Remember to add a new scale or north arrow if the inset mapâs scale and orientation is different from the main mapâs.
