One of the fun things about my GIS degree is I get to make these story maps. Published my final project for fall semester using ArcGIS about post-colonialism in India and a brief overview of history.

Data analysis exam #1 ✔️
Didn’t have stats lab since it was exam week, but stayed on campus to work on my ArcGIS Pro lab, which is due Tuesday.
Spending the rest of the evening decompressing a bit and then catching up some lecture videos.
Today we test how many fields and features it takes to break arcgis
If you know, you know.
happy GIS day to everyone who’s ever had the same love-hate relationship w esri products as I have lol
whoever made arcGIS so complicated I just wanna talk. just a little chat.
wait don’t run away hold on I need to make you pay for the mental suffering of environmental science students get back here
from one future missing person to another;;;;;
any. uh. advice.
should i likeeeee
ok whats your plan twin
this ask is so real lol, i had nooo fucking clue what the hell i was doin a year ago, so ig try to avoid my mistakes my plan got horribly sidetracked by the lack of money, like baddd (wasnt in my right mind too but eh) had some money and pulled out a loan of about 1.6k (DO NOT DO THIS) but for a while i did seasonal conservation work, fixin trails n stuffs, blew most of my money on transport (getting a car n fixin it up + gas), after the work season ended, i was kinda up shit creek, but ended up in a new area and goin to school again (which felt like it barely worked out, im still suspicious at how seamless its gone, and it might not apply to everyone), buttttt i do wanna get back on the road after getting my degree (can't help but wanna keep movin ya know?)
in short? my advice is to save money (its literally the most vital thing) doesnt matter if ur goin in a car or on foot, money is the defining value of how prepared you can afford to be. capitalism fuckin sucks my plan rn is to finish up my stuff, (which will probably take roughly a year)(its an associates in environmental science + gis/gps certificate) save up some money (pay off debt) maybe even use my degree to get a traveling job (if im lucky), no real goal or destination, mostly just the mantra of "keep moving", was also thinking about the air force, lots of "ehh" there though, im not sure id do well in that environment been learnin a couple languages along the way, and pickin up info about camping, hiking and self sustaining, better to gather all sorts of goods before having to head out. as memey as it sounds, the r/vagabond stuff on reddit (along other subreddits) has been a good place to see where my info and knowledge was lacking. was kinda appalled at the lack of major information for young people who want to leave a situation, it seems like everythings an ad, "oh you wanna make a living and survive without being in school or with your parents? BUY THIS COURSE/LICENSE TO USE THIS WEBSITE" like bruh, the digital nomad shit sounds cool but its not very reliable, at least to me, feels like one of those too good to be true things. in a ideal world, i would love to travel with a group, or later on pool money to buy land, but that just might be my craving for a group setting. i'd be down to create some sort of community for it here on tumblr or some other website (comes with the usual risks of talking about real world shit so thats just on the drawing board ya know?) , but for now im settled, and will be in this area for the foreseeable year, which just gives me time to setup shit to help sustain myself in the future (lookup meshtastic, ive been so intruiged by it) i still need a job, kinda wish i was conventionally attractive so i could stream or post (ldmfskjnkfjnkgj)
heres a screenshot from my ArcGis Class, learnin how to use the program for my assignment <3
