Thanks for being a rainbow with me! ❤🌈 #WhyAustinPride? I moved back to Austin, two years ago, on a rainy, cloudy day that seemed to last for months and discovered everything changed. The community I built before I left was gone. I was struggling to find my place, my home, and then I was asked to join the Pride Board. Austin Pride has become my place. It has given me a voice to a cause that is ingrained in my DNA. It is my duty to be me, loudly, and Pride has given me the stage to do just that. Pride has given me a purpose, allowed my ideas to flourish and affect the people around me for the better. It has given me a reason to be good for me and for the sake of others.
