Unfortunately, my family lost two of our chickens this month, Gimpy and Macademia (Brownie passed last summer). Gimpy left us on Monday, and Maca yesterday.

Even though it hurts so much to lose such important parts of our lives, it makes me feel better that they didn't suffer, and Brownie won't be lonely in heaven anymore.
