OKAY... now I can get this out: this year I've decided to do some pride requests, with the Backrooms dragons!

I'm nearing 300 designs done as of now - but I'm willing to design new dragons purely for these requests! requests can be submitted basically anywhere - tumblr asks, comments, my twitter... you get the gist! im ready to go ham :)

both of our planned HTF fangames, Veil of Blood and Beyond the Frontrooms are both purely in concept form at the moment! we've made tons and tons of concept art and planned mechanics n such for both, but that's as far as it'll probably get... for now... it's more of an "if" than a "when" at the moment!

I've never watched either, I don't dabble in kids shows lol! in terms of cartoons in general, besides HTF? couldn't tell ya :,D I don't watch much at all! I mainly like horror series and movies!

thank you!! he's primarily called Zach! (credit to @liftylacerated for giving him that nickname) his name is essentially short for his last name, Saccharine! Zach is an insanely variable guy - after years of development, he's basically become his own character... so here's a little rundown of the legend himself:

Zach is a hybrid, a mix of 3 animals in particular - Plantain squirrel (main), Chevrotain, and Sand Cat the stripes in his tail are all purely decoration, dyed in - but his tail does have natural stripes! his personality could be described as... offensive by accident. hell, his catchphrase is "no offense!" he can come off as rude and apathetic - he does struggle with apathy in particular - but he never has true ill intention. he's just conditioned to be rough, because the world isn't nice to him.

he's an ex-hooker, his clothes came from his old job! he still wears them out of pure spite. and because he looks good in them. trust me, he knows the appeal. he ADORES fire, and likes to consider himself a pyromaniac! that's basically Zach in a nutshell! -- now Beyond the Veil, as a whole? oh BOY it's a LOT. I'm currently in the process of renewing and finalizing concepts for the comic (@htf-beyond-the-veil) so that we can soon return to telling the story of a world, gone horribly awry. BTV in a nutshell is essentially "HTF, but add cosmic horror"! it's a story of how a bunch of guys from terrible pasts band together to restore the balance of a pantheon of dragon gods :) i hope to bring that story to life soon! thanks for letting me yap :D

I'll return to making art, especially pride-themed stuff, once I've processed a few things going on in my personal life, don't worry! little explanation as to whats going on with me below the cut vvvvvv

so here's the news: I may be soon diagnosed with skin cancer.

this is something that's been bothering me for, like a WHILE. I just now am finally getting the courage to have it checked, get all the appointments and such done, and from what I've been told, there's basically a very good chance that I'm dealing with a cancerous melanoma.

fortunately I am looking into getting it treated ASAP... this is a kind of cancer that can spread to other parts of the body at any given time, and that prospect terrifies me. so... yeah, that's the scoop... hopefully things will be okay! I'm remaining hopeful through this all, and that's all I can really do in the wait!

rest assured: I will NOT be stopping my work on my projects, I know how much you guys adore Beyond the Veil and such. we're working on it. life's been a bitch lately, and I do apologize for it.

he does actually! I still need to design the little fella fully, BUUUUT... Zach has a black palm cockatoo named Risk!

surprisingly, he's actually really good with animals. I mean, why wouldn't he? he's also slightly responsible for Rift and Raft... huh. wonder why.

I'd love to draw stuff related to CoS if I simply had the motivation to :D but maybe I will someday! that would be cool, methinks at the very least I might draw my Shimmer Somnia Elus that's also a cosplay of Zach soon! or my glimmer+glowtail Aereis thats also a Zach cosplay? I dunno!

at least I have an excuse to show these fellas off now. I love them!

Do you believe kids should watch HTF?

I know many have been exposed to HTF as kids (thankfully I wasn't a case of that) but personally I'd say it's okay for at least people 15+? if even that obviously its a no for LITTTTLE little kids. but if you can handle it, then, sure lmao take this with a grain of salt btw I AM NOT A PARENT AND I NEVER WILL BE
