{11/100 days of productivity} Look who tried to invade the dining table for the whole day!! Couldnāt go to the library today due to bad muscle aches from sudden exercise )): hence the staycation at home today - currently working on history notes. 27 days to MT olevels, 170 days to olevel season || it has been non-stop biology, math, and civil war fangirling for the past two days, and i donāt want to go back to school after this 4-day-long weekend o(TćTo) excuse the crappy cursive header though

how does IB differ from A levels?
While A level results predominantly depend on the actual exam itself, IB is more āwholisticā, and encompasses internal components for each subject which account for 20% - 50% ; practicals and investigations for the sciences; oral and written components for languages, and commentaries for the humanities etc etc etc. Not to mention there are the two components: TOK and EE (aka hell on earth) which require students to write A LOT. Internal assessments aside, the IB syllabus is definitely a lot simpler than that of A levels, and the marking is slightly more lenient. The IB also gives more leeway in terms of what subjects you want to take (french, Malay, Japanese ab initio, art, lit and performance etc. which typically donāt require background knowledge). Both As and IB have their pros and cons but i would highly suggest only taking IB if you are a consistent worker :-)
Iād say, go to university, but go for the right reasons. Education isnāt a gun held to your head: itās a weapon in your hands. Go not because youāre afraid of not getting a job ā thatās not something you can count on anyway ā but go because you love to learn, because youāre excited by ideas, because you believe that education is important for its own sake, and when you get there, pay attention, read everything you can get your hands on, cram yourself with words and figures and ideas, because thatās the one thing they can never take away from you.

{9/100 days of productivity} ć142 days to Olevelsćanother month, another day at the library. I have literally been spending more time in the library than at home because it truly feels like a second home to me šš you should always find a study area where you donāt have any distractions or worries , happy studying!
