ok.. i'm gonna admit, I didn't want to go and see the last Superman movie in theatre at first. (They got me with Krypto damn it !)
But as I said, they got me with Krypto (i'm a sucker for animals, especially those with super powers (and he's damn cute)). So I went to see it tonight. And fuck was it good ! Finally Warner let someone who understands the basic of Superman create a movie that is mostly comic accurate !!
I really loved the way they depicted Clark as... Just a good dude who's trying his damn best. The way he interacts with Lois, WITH HIS DAD WHO'S FINALLY ALIVE ! (pls don't kill Pa Kent, we love him), and his mom. Loved their accent as well. Midwest. Perfect. Anyway, just. Wow.
I have nothing but good to say about that movie, except like... 2 things : why Luthor Corp ? In most comics (almost all recent ones I think ? and in general, nearly all Superman comics), it is known as LexCorp, and.. I don't know, I just find that way better and easier to say than Luthor Corp, but that may be the French in me speaking..
The second thing ? Guy Gardner. Very well played, no problem on that, but he's a red head... not blond.... (Very small detail, as I said, I don't have anything ,egative to say about the movie, but the French in me want to complain, so I complain on nothing...)
Oh yeah ! Spoiler ahead, be careful : the clone. WHY ISN'T IT CONNER ?? I was sad. Like I called the clone part, and I was like : Oh ! We're gonna have Conner ! But no !! Just a stupid clone.... Not even Bizarro... I think they just didn't dare put the first fanfic became canon two biological dudes kid...
Anyway ! If you haven't went to see it ? Can't force you, but damn ! It is a very good Superman movie ! Loved it (would go and see it again, but... I don't really have more money x) )
