I'm still thinking about his little nose-— LIKE DKSJSKDKDKD???? I LOVE HIMMM🤲🏻🤲🏻
uhm HELLO???? kiri, just give us our neteyam, thank you
I love to think that Neteyam was the last out of the Sully’s to adapt to the Metkayina way, even Tuk being a better swimmer.
Neteyam would be frustrated at it because he was looked up by others back in the forest, being the first to complete his Iknimaya ritual out of him and Loak, being the first to bond with a mountain ikran (as well as being the oldest son of the Olo'eyktan and tsakarem).
Ao’nung giving him shit for it but insisting on doing more training together, making up reasons just to get closer and spend more time with him.
If somebody had told me a month ago that we would get to see Neteyam and Tsu‘tey in the same frame I would not have believed them
jjk fans are saying that dabura is our new sukuna, but have you even seen cross? HE'S sukuna's reincarnation, I'm convinced of it
"dead man memories."
"you are free and there is a world out there. there are things that those suits will never understand. the na'vi called it "kame" (to see). see this world. see yourself."
to be honest, this was one of the best scenes and lines in the movie.
Okay but if Aonung ever tried to court Neteyam, Lo'ak would definitely tell him that where they come from, courting involves these big, feathery dances like birds of paradise. Aonung would be suspicious of this, but I feel like Spider, Kiri, Tuk, and even Jake could be convinced to go along with it in the name of making sure this fool is good enough for Neteyam.
Neteyam does a very good job of hiding his laughter until the dance is done, only to gently tell Aonung afterwards that he was set up.
Aonung would then start planning his revenge for when Lo'ak and Tsireya are old enough.
i love how the entire dynamic between quaritch and spider throughout the movie was essentially like
quaritch: please join me son i'll do anything you want
spider: stop destroying everything i love
quaritch: no not that
well, before watching AFAA I decided to rewatch first two Avatar movies and ATWOW was... devastating. I mean I cried for the last hour of the movie because of neteyam, then i cried again for a while and for 4 hours I tried to deal with my migraine. I finished the movie 6 hours ago, but my head still hurts, I feel TERRIBLE
fym AFAA starts with a scene with lo'ak and neteyam. am I gonna die???
I think it's so funny that Ao'nungs tattoo is literally just this meme 💀
I like that the Omatikaya clan are cats in spirit and appearance, and the Metkayina clan... I think they're sharks, don't mind me ehh. And I love this cat/fish dynamic between Aonunete. Yeah yeah, Neteyam is a good big brother and lalala, but he's got fangs, guys. And not only anatomically. He's a copy of his parents, omg. And Ao'nung too. But if Neteyam inherited from his parents the freedom and wildness of the forest spirit, balanced by duty and responsibility for family members, Ao'nung received from Tonowari and Ronal, the same children of the sea as himself, the main property of water — variability. Yes, he's a bully and a bad boy at first, but we all know that's just immature initial behavior inspired by Ronal's prejudice against the Sullys, right? In fact, if you look at Ao'nung, he looks like water. He's often just there as a curious observer, his surface calm as the sea, but it can also ripple in different situations — from playfulness, danger, or other reasons. I don't like it when fics portray Ao'nung as a hypermasculine bully and Neteyam as fragile, dependent, and needy, when in reality Neteyam is a copy of his mother (and father, bUT-), while Ao'nung is more like a Tonowari. Guys, basically we have a responsible but wild boy and a calm boy who is in love with the first one and walks around with a stupid grin, for which he will get hit in the back of the head.
I love this trend (on tik tok) lmao
Jake is a whore because he betrayed his entire species for some hot aliens after knowing them for three months. Quaritch is a bigger whore because he did it in three minutes
