*The Dogon and the Nommos of Sirius B* đ The Dogon are a tribe of people, claimed to be of original Kemite descent (notice the #Ankh, also the #StarofDavid, and the Neter for water), living in Mali, West Africa. They are renowned for their advanced knowledge of the Sirius star system, specifically SiriusB. We know the ancients had their own astronomical learning, but the significance of this âSiriusâ (pun intended) knowledge is that #Sirius B is invisible to the naked eye, and was not âdiscoveredâ by European astronomers until the 19th century. đ The Dogon claim an amphibious alien race called the #Nommos came to them from the âFish Bowlâ planet of Sirius (Sirius C is a candidate for life) and gave them this knowledge. They depict them as above & their planetâs #symbolism is a fish, seen in Akkadian, Babylonian, and Sumerian mythology as well. They also claim to have been taught that #Jupiter has four moons, the planets of our solar system orbit the Sun, and #Saturn has rings. đ (If the Dogon themselves are claiming this extratterestrial contact, is it that much more believable? Compared to the debunked Ancient Aliens idea? Or was this African astronomy, shrouded in folklore?) đ #PreachOneTeachOne #Dogon #Sirius #Kemet #Astronomy #Melanin #4biddenknowledge#BlackExcellence#BlackHistory
Black History Month fact #16
The Dogon of Mali, descendents of Ancient Egyptians, located the star of Sirius and its companion star millenia ago, around 3200 BCE, with the naked eye.
The star, which scientists call Sirius B, wasnât even photographed until it was done by a large telescope in 1970.
According to their oral traditions, a race people from the Sirius system called the Nommos visited Earth thousands of years ago. The Nommos, according to the Dogon legend, lived on a planet that orbits another star in the Sirius system. They landed on Earth in an âarkâ that made a spinning decent to the ground with great noise and wind. It was the Nommos that gave the Dogon the knowledge about Sirius B.
The legend goes on to say the Nommos also furnished the Dogonâs with some interesting information about our own solar system: That the planet Jupiter has four major moons, that Saturn has rings and that the planets orbit the sun. These were all facts discovered by Westerners only after Galileo invented the telescope.
Dogon mythology tells that the Nummo preferred dark, cool caves and liked to move about at night rather than in the daylight. This can explain how they were able to detect Sirius with the naked eye: their eyes were more sensitive to light in the dark.

The Unexplained Knowledge of Maliâs Dogon Tribe The first day Sirius B becomes visible in the sky there is an important festival day at the Dogon Tribe. Which is funny because Sirius B is not visible to the naked eye. How could have they possibly figured all this information about this star system without our modern equipment?

The Unexplained Knowledge of Maliâs Dogon Tribe
This west-African tribe revealed to the first anthropologist ever to visit them that they were possessing a particular galactic knowledge brought by their âGodsâ in the ancient past. To the surprise of western civilization, they knew the star Sirius A had a companion star (Sirius B), how heavy those celestial bodies were, and their orbital cycles precisely.
Impressive, for a âprimitiveâ community that has no astrological measurement tools to know that much about such a remote place in our universe. The first day Sirius B becomes visible in the sky there is an important festival day at the Dogon Tribe. Which is funny because Sirius B is not visible to the naked eye. How could have they possibly figured all this information about this star system without our modern equipment?
Dogon mythology says that Nommo was the first living creature created by the sky god Amma. Shortly after his creation, Nommo underwent a transformation and multiplied into four pairs of twins. One of the twins rebelled against the universal order created by Amma. To restore order to his creation, Amma sacrificed another of the Nommo progeny, whose body was dismembered and scattered throughout the universe. This dispersal of body parts is seen by the Dogon as the source for the proliferation of Binu shrines throughout the Dogonsâ traditional territory; wherever a body part fell, a shrine was erected.

Deadly Mali hotel attack: âThey were shooting at anything that movedâ
(CNN)Gunmen who raided a Malian hotel shouted âAllahu akbarâ as they sprayed bullets on tables of people who were gathered for breakfast, a witness said.
The attackers did not say a word to anyone as they opened fire Friday morning, employee Tamba Couye said.
They shot at âanything that movedâ as terrified patrons dashed for cover all over the hotel, he said.
By the time Malian and U.N. security forces rushed in and ended the siege hours later, bodies were scattered across the floors of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bamako.
At least 19 people were killed in the attack, said Olivier Salgado, a spokesman for the U.N. mission in the nation.
Interesting to see how the media seemed to pay a little more attention than usual on this attack, but not because some Malians were either killed or injured. It was because one of the first Mali attack victim was an American and also some foreigners were either killed or held hostage.

Please pray for Mali and and not just for one life that was lost, but for all the lives that were lost in such a horrendous attack! This is our Africa. Please repost, reblog, post, Â and let your voices be heard.Â
Please support my campaign. I am working on âgoing back to Africaâ with the aim of re-connecting directly with my Ancestral roots. Did West Africans live in Four Corners Region of the United States from 12th Century?
New guest author, Dr Clyde Winters, presents a radical new theory that thousands of people from Mali, West Africa, made a transatlantic journey to the Americas in the 12th century, where they left numerous petroglyphs and inscriptions written in their language proving their presence in the Four Corners region of the United States.
