Just a reminder that the Syrian revolution was inflamed in 2011 when 13 year old Hamza Alkhatib was abducted by the regime and tortured to death for having graffitied an anti Assad slogan on his school's wall.

The regime also abducted, imprisoned and tortured his family. This is the same regime headed at the time (!!) by dictator Bashar Alassad, son of dictator Hafez Alassad. Bashar, upon his father's death, pushed the fastest amendment to the Syrian constitution that had a minimum age requirement for the president to be 40 years of age and changed it to 34. Guess who was 34 years old and 10 months at the time? Also guess who ran "elections" and later announced winning by 99.7%?

This is who was ousted today.
