“I can’t even act surprised that you said that,” she admitted as for the amount of time they have spent together, that wasn’t far for other things he has said to and around her. “No sugar daddy and no I did not get a proper job, what I did get was my check from Youtube as my views since the tour has skyrocketed so I’ve been getting paid way more and I released my album so I’ve been getting money from sells too.”

“Yeah, I don’t think you should pick up another minor if you have one or else you’ll just do the pilling work of one thing after another and you already don’t take a break so just imagine you not being able to have time to do anything.” 

“I would be the definition of ‘team no sleep’ for sure. Which would be interesting but I love my sleep, so... No thanks.” She chuckled lightly.

“I feel like it’s always easier to do lyrics first and then find a melody that fits in perfectly. It’s different for everyone.” she states while giving her a tiny smile. “Ahh.. yeah, that’s understandable.”

“Yeah, that’s true, I guess it does all depend on the person at the end of the day.” She mused as she knew there were so many different methods because she definitely did so. “Besides that, I would just stick to singing.”

“I do, only if I want to.” he replies while rising an eyebrow at the girl, a slight smirk appearing upon his face. “Why? Do you want me to carry the conversation with you?”

“Well, yeah, it is the polite thing to do, after all.” She chuckled.

“Honestly, I think that if you want to still become a journalist you could still do so… like have a minor in it or something.” 

“Honestly, not anymore, I don’t think it’s for me, I connected too deeply with my music that I can’t see myself doing anything but that also I have a minor already and don’t think I could handle another if it was possible.”

“Yeah, I feel like it’s beyond interesting, plus you learn a whole lot by watching or writing with someone else.. especially if they do anything differently from what you’re used to.” she explains while smiling softly. “Ah.. yeah, that’s why I personally didn’t choose one.”

“I would guess that, yeah, I personally always do lyrics first most of the time unless I have this melody in my mind or even some chords. It’s really weird process for me.” She scratched the back of her head. “I get that, I personally wanted to better my songwriting.”

Vincent shrugged his shoulders while licking his lips a bit. “Got a couple new sketches out for class, other than that nothing much.” 

“That’s cool but a question, do you not know how to carry a conversation?” She asked in a teasing tone as she felt she was trying to save the conversation.

“Exactly, which would make sense as to why you would write about your ex and I won’t.. it’s two different platforms and would probably be unprofessional for me.” 

“I have to remember that now, honestly at one point I wanted to be a journalist but that obviously never happened.”

“Well, I sure hope that you are able to click with someone to be able to do all that because it is pretty great to write music with someone else.” the blonde tells the girl. “Especially with all this new work the professors gave us and the year just basically started.”

“I hope so too because I would love to experience the mind of another’s technique and how they write, you know?” She chuckled, trying not to ramble about it. “Honestly, and with a minor, it’s just extra work on that.”

“Nor do I really care if we’re being honest here.” Vincent admits while giving the girl a shrug not knowing why she was complaining if it didn’t look bad. 

“I assumed. Anyways, since you don’t care about anything I’m probably going to say. What’s new with you?” Hailee wondered.

“Well, then I guess that I’m just beyond lucky that you trust me and all. Well, that’s simply because he’s what you got inspired from. I won’t get inspired from my ex and write about it since songs and what I write are different.” 

“Not to tut my own horn but maybe so. You got an amazing point, they both are writing but completely different forms of them.”

“That’s understandable, though I do prefer to write with someone sometimes, just bounce ideas off of each other and all.” she replies nodding her head while smiling lightly. “Unless we do a DNA test, but who has time for that?” she jokes. 

“I never got the chance to experiences that, to be honest, so I have no idea how that feels. Maybe someday I’ll click with someone enough to do so,” she spoke hopefully. “I don’t think anyone does,” she chuckled.

Vincent gives the girl another shrug. “At least the hairdresser didn’t make you bald, even if it’s not what you asked for at least it’s not totally terrible to the point where you need to go buy wigs or get extensions.” 

“There is differently extensions in my hair right now but that’s not the point, the point is... you know what, you probably wouldn’t understand,” Hailee sighed.

“I mean I have been told I can be a little like the devil when I get stressed so in a way…I suppose you have,” He responded, wiggling his eyebrows at her with a laugh before looking down at the sheets in his hand, “You, my darling Hailee because you love me so, are helping me with my first assignment. I need your vocal ability - please.”

“If you’re the devil, what does that makes me?” She chuckled as she raised her eyebrow. Hailee bit her bottom lip to hide her growing smirk before letting it go between her teeth. “Who said I even loved you? Now you’re just making things up as you go,” she teased before nodding a little, “you should’ve just opened with, you get to sing, you in? ‘Cause I’m a say yes automatically to singing anything.”

“It’s that time when I count down to my birthday by dancing and singing around my apartment because I got an apartment and a car, and this has been a great freaking year,” she chuckled.
