Important piece of info I didn't know where to fit on there but they're all from Eukaris, not Cybertron. And it's one of the reasons why they didn't perish once they landed on prehistoric Earth. Because Eukaris is organic and the ancient Cybertronians who settled there have evolved to withstand harsher organic environments, the Maximals (descendants of those early settlers) could handle Earth's prehistoric atmospheres while Cybertronians couldn't and unfortunately, died more easily.
Other bits of info:
No time travel shenanigans are at play
They are considered techno-organic
Their beast-modes look like how they did in RotB but more organic
They were fighting against the Predacon clones who landed on Earth before the event of TFP
Darksteel/ Skylynx’s size were about the same size as the smallest Predacon they had to fight
None were ever as big as Predaking
Other Maximals include the saboteur Black Arachnia, scientist Botanica, and warriors Razorbeast, Silverbolt, Noble, and Nightscream (haven’t designed them yet since they’re not as relevant)
My part of an art trade with @ny000mdraws , using her design for TFP Percy for this piece! I adore her TFP designs sm and it's always a pleasure to draw my fave character in any continuity.

OPTIMUS PRIME (voiced by Yuri Lowenthal)
At first, people weren't too keen on another Prime. But upon hearing what Optimus had to say on the state of Cybertron, many were moved to tears. His was not the words of an aristocratic politician, but a political slave whose family is just as much shackled by the tyrannical regime governing this planet. Just another puppet on strings, and so he knew all too well how everyone else felt, he knew what they desired most. That which is the right of all sentient beings. Freedom. He didn’t even ask for loyalty, he only asked for the courage to stand, and stand they all will before the true Prime.
Homeworld: Cybertron
Alt mode: fire truck
Weapons: ultra axe, ion blaster, shock bolas, cryonic grenades
Alt mode: armored firetruck
ARCEE (voiced by Michelle Ruff)
Lead singer of the heavy metal band Sterner Stuff. Like most citizens of Cybertron, she has suffered her fair share of grievances from the corrupt regime running this planet into the ground, picking up music to not only air out her frustration, but also hoping that even one of her songs might inspire change in the people. Is just as much a hot blooded firecracker with a gun as she is with a mic, bringing the same passionate drive to any task put before her. The moment you give an inch, she will take a whole drag strip.
Homeworld: Cybertron
Alt mode: armored car
Weapons: twin vibrosabers, heavy neutron repeater, pulse blasters, glitch-gas grenades, retractable arm and knee blades
BUMBLEBEE (voiced by Elijah Wood)
Both guitarist of Sterner Stuff and the band’s resident fembot fan-attracting heartthrob. As Arcee’s younger brother, he boasts much of the same hot blooded construction, the same drive to see any task he takes to the end, and indeed he was there to share in the frequent social injustices at the hands of the corrupt regime. While not as physically strong as his more tenacious sister, he is easily the faster runner.
Being cooped up in a medbay for millennia would drive anyone mad. Anyone, except for Ratchet. Ever since she gave up weapon designing, she decided to use her skills to heal instead of hurt. And in a medical center near the Decagon’s grid, Ratchet met Optimus. The two became close friends, with the young archivist viewing her as a mentor. So when Optimus needed soldiers against the Decepticons, Ratchet immediately volunteered as a combat medic. She's a real life saver… if you get past the sarcasm.
Ironhide, being forged to be a soldier, was definitely cut out for the Great War. He's efficient in tactical analysis. He's skilled in almost every form of weaponry. And he's rather skilled in chemical engineering. The latter helped him with new forms of weapons, including liquid nitrogen canister launchers and molten lead spray grenades. But even though he was a perfect candidate for the Decepticons, Ironhide joined the Autobots. Because he may be an efficient killer… but he's no monster.
Homeworld: Cybertron
Alt mode: armored truck
Weapons: rocket hammer, chemical discharge gun, assault rifle, heavy machine gun, tracking rocket pods, quad-barrelled shotguns, machine pistol, combat knife
WHEELJACK (voiced by Erica Mendez)
Raised by a family of engineers, Wheeljack was called a “kremzeek” by her peers, referring to a gremlin made of pure electric energy. And that's an apt description for this ball of mayhem! She creates the Autobots’ weaponry, ranging from smaller-scale ones like mind-scrambling dominator discs to WMDs like pathblasters. But all that pales in comparison to her greatest weapon of all; her own instability! This, how you say, “batshit crazy bitch” is essentially the DaVinci of Destruction and may Primus help any foe that happens to be the target of her newest creations.
She’s perhaps the most eccentric, unprecedented, and most hard to read bot anyone has ever come to know. Her rather cheerful, outspoken, and laid-back personality leaves one to wonder if she has a personality chip malfunction or two, at least that's what she wants them to believe. Underneath that persona of what's basically a cat trapped in an Autobot's body, she is quite the shrewd and terrifyingly brilliant warrior very skilled in the art of raw combat and military tactics. She is very well known for his ability to effortlessly tune into the current environment, assimilating and improvising, and making creative command decisions. There are not many situations where she isn't the coolest head on the battlefield.
Think of a battlefield. One where the skies rain fire, with enemies around every corner, and explosions everywhere. To any normal bot, that'd be a nightmare. To Impactor, it's a Tuesday. Ever since his days in the mines, he was one tough bot. And as such, he was present at Decepticon protests, yet joined the Autobots when Megatron went full dictator. This speaks volume of his combat prowess and, more importantly, his hopes for all of the Seiber system.
If Impactor is the leader who's your leader, Springer is the leader who's your friend. He was born with a bizarre trait, causing him to have two alt modes. This caused him to be thought of as a lesser being by the functionalist rulers of Cybertron. A freak of nature. But he soon proved himself in action when he saved the life of Cybertronian senator, Emirate Xeon, from a Decepticon assassination attempt. But his greatest weapon of all? His hope. To him, the soldiers he leads aren't just pawns, or numbers on a screen. They're family.
Homeworld: Cybertron
Alt modes: armored car and attack helicopter
Weapons: plasma cannon, heavy minigun, greatsword, cluster grenades, smoke pellets
SIDESWIPE (voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch)
Part of an experiment gone horribly wrong, Sideswipe was engineered in a lab to be the ultimate soldier. And it worked a little too well, as his insane regeneration and mastery of almost all forms of combat makes him a one bot army. But eventually, he was taken in by the Autobots (mainly Sunstreaker) in order to show him that life isn’t just killing. It’s also living it to the fullest, like every day’s the last. And that’s become one of Sideswipe’s defining features.
One of the Wreckers’ finest warriors, Sunstreaker was one of the many Autobots who was under the watchful eye of Decepticon scientist Shockwave, who used her genetic code to create a supersoldier. And after bringing down the lab he was using, Sunstreaker took him in as a little brother. And even though she's as fierce as she is competitive, Sunstreaker is a loyal friend.
Even though Warpath is a large and loud bot, his biggest dream in life wasn't to be a soldier. Instead, he wanted to make it big into radio, much like his hero, Blaster. But when the War sparked, he decided to use his strength to become a heavy weapons expert. This included modifying his alternate mode from a radar transmission vehicle to a full-blown tank. Albeit, the sad thing about Warpath? His time blasting music and using high-explosive weaponry has damaged his hearing. But he still continues the fight. Even if he forgets to put his hearing aid in.
A close friend of Optimus Prime, Sentinel was inspired by him to become a leader on his planet of Eukaris. And the people of his world embraced this former scientist. They knew he would bring them greatness. And as such, he assembled a team of the greatest minds on Eukaris in order to venture to Cybertron and assist in the war efforts. They became a team like no other; Axalon Squadron, named after their ship. Bots all across the galaxy have called him crazy. But sometimes? Sometimes crazy works.
Sentinel’s best friend, Brawn was always interested in pursuing a career in science, even if he's a towering figure. And in time, he did. Becoming one of the greatest scientific minds on Eukaris wasn't enough for him, however. He wanted to go to Cybertron itself to join the science guild. Then the War broke out, and all flights to Cybertron were cancelled. So when his best friend told him that he was planning to embark to Cybertron with the greatest minds on the planet, he was overjoyed. And so they ventured to the Autobots and became a great strike force. Even when Brawn was told he'd be a great leader, he always wanted to stay behind and smell the flowers.
Despite his young age, Mirage became one of the leading wilderness experts on Eukaris. And as such, he was approached by Sentinel to join his team to go to Cybertron. Without a second thought, Mirage joined. Eukaris was all too familiar to him and he longed for some action. And action he got when they made it, becoming full fledged members of the Autobot Resistance. Mirage even made fast friends with his fellow scouting speedster, Bumblebee. The two are almost inseparable, much to the annoyance of Arcee and Brawn, both of which wish they could get their heads on straight.
When Ransack was asked to join the Axalon crew, he was puzzled. Why would a group of scientists be needed to go to an already charged out planet? Let alone one in the middle of a civil war! But they needed a pilot and a demolition expert. That was enough to persuade him. But in time, his cowardice began to show with his constant catchphrase; “We're all gonna die!”
Homeworld: Eukaris
Alt mode: rodent beast
Weapons: hack knife, burst grenades, machine pistols, energy shotgun
GRIMLOCK (voiced by Jennifer Hale)
When Shockwave saw how effective the Predacons were in combat, he had an idea; what if he could make an army of cloned Predacons? An entire legion of monsters, all at the command of the Decepticons. But that idea went even further when he located the destroyed world of Nublar. The saurian lifeforms seemed incredibly powerful, yet incredibly dim-witted. So to counteract having moronic troops, Shockwave used cloned genetic codes from Nublarians and fused with modern Carcerian codes. The result exceeded expectations… until life found a way. The beasts rebelled and found a new home among the Autobots, with their queen coming to be named Grimlock.
Homeworld: Carcer
Alt mode: draconic tyrannosaur
Weapons: vrolcraecium sword, dual-barrelled magma core cannon, sawed-off scatter blaster, ancestral shieldsaw, remote bombs, plasma fire breath
SLUG (voiced by Jamie Hector)
One of Shockwave's Predacon hybrids that would one day become a Dinobot, Slug’s unit type, the Beta-Violet, was created to be a living bunker buster, capable of breaking down doors with a single headbutt. But when the Dinobots broke free, Slug still found it difficult to be peaceful. His programming demands him to kill. To burn. To destroy. As such, he often confines himself to his quarters when not in action. But when he's required to fight, he unleashes everything in his arsenal, tearing down armor and bots alike. All that is left in his wake is the very swear for which he was originally called by his captors; slag.
Homeworld: Carcer
Alt mode: draconic ceratopsian
Weapons: vrolcraecium cudgel, twin heavy repeaters, flame grenades, energy blade array, molten metal spit
SNARL (voiced by Patrick Seitz)
Designed by Shockwave to be the perfect frontline tank, the Delta-Green unit who would name himself Snarl would eventually realize that he is truly only happy when he's killing Decepticons. As such, he's rather quiet when not in action, preferring to talk with his peers over anyone else. But in battle, he's loud and gleeful. If there's one thing Snarl can truly be happy about? It's slaughtering those who made his team’s life a living hell.
Even though he's one the largest of the Dinobots, Sludge is also the most gentle and kind. He knows very well what Shockwave did to him and his family. But he doesn't let it dull his smile. Sludge may be kind, yes. But that doesn't deny his programming. His type, the Epsilon-Black, was designed as the ultimate lookout and command unit, given his immense size, he was designed to draw fire away from the others. And he relishes in the role, being able to tank all sorts of firepower without even flinching!
Homeworld: Carcer
Alt mode: draconic sauropod
Weapons: vrolcraecium hammer, fusion-core rocket launcher, heavy machine gun, electron cannon
SWOOP (voiced by Kari Wahlgren)
Swoop’s type, the Iota-Blue, was designed to be the perfect aerial supremacy unit, being able to fly circles around her targets, scaring them with her immense wingspan and deafening screech. But that's only in beast mode. When she's walking around the base, she's talkative and friendly, always trying to learn more about her surroundings and how nonliving machines work. She'd even take up engineering as a hobby. But when she needs to fight, she's always soaring above.
Slash was designed to be an “army-builder” unit, meaning her type, the Omega-Cyan, was meant to be created in massive hordes to overwhelm Autobot strongholds. As such, she's very social, always trying to get to know others who look at her. Even if they don't appreciate it. But somehow, she still keeps trying to find like-minded bots. This even translates to combat, where she looks out for her entire unit, even if she's not with her fellow Dinobots. And on her own, she's a skilled hunter and fierce fighter. One problem with that, however; she doesn't like to be alone.
When he was creating the Dinobots, he was tied. Would he use the Alpha-Orange Dinobots as the leader, or the Gamma-Red? One was incredibly strong, with a bite force that could shatter almost anything she gets her jaws around. The other was incredibly durable and could swim in any known water. After running simulations, he decided the Alpha-Orange would be commander units. It seems that grudge carried over with Scorn, who can't stand being lower ranked than Grimlock. But he bides his time. He knows his time will come.
Homeworld: Carcer
Alt mode: draconic spinosaur
Weapons: vrolcraecium claymore, heavy assault rifle, grenade launcher, riot shield
some more reverse nsr au stuff. i was mainly focused on trying to get prowl and jazz’s designs down bc i have dialouge for them and i want to visualize it in my tiny pea brain
My pieces for a zine that unfortunately got cancelled. But hey! At least I got to make a piece of my TFsona and my TFP OCs!
And if you’re interested in me info dumping about them, it’ll be below the cut!
This guy is my TFsona, Nyoom! So far, I’ve only drawn him in the MTMTE universe but I want to design a TFP and TFA version as well! Anyway, he’s a wuss. A big scaredy-cat. He remained a neutral during the war because he was too afraid to use a gun and spent most of the war hiding from both Decepticons and Autobots. Instead of being a fighter, he’s an artist who enjoys being lost in his own world and letting his servo flow freely across the canvas. As for why he’s on the Lost Light, he hoped that this journey across galaxies would broaden his horizon and inspire his next series of works. Although, now he’s having second thoughts…
Now onto my TFP OCs (who all happen to be Decepticons ahaha)!
Burn Rubber is a scout. He’s from Velocitron and his alt-mode is a F1 racing car. Out of all the OCs, he’s the most competent and loyal but he still fears Megatron’s wraith. Because of his birth defect that made him have no arms, he relies more on kicks and piercing bots with his pede. After the war, he and Bulkhead form a friendship and grow closer.
This is an unnamed OC. I mainly wanted to create a Transformer OC who 1. Is a cannibal and 2. Is a manipulative POS and genuinely unlikable. His facial anatomy is similar to that of a python in the sense that he can unhinge his jaw in order to ingest large pieces of fuel. His alt-mode is a motorcycle.
Vise is my first TF OC I made (that wasn’t a child of existing characters) back in 2021. I wanted to include a character who was disabled (Burn Rubber was the same way) and I decided on a mech with no optics. Since it’s a birth defect, he’s gotten used to navigating the world and remember others using his other sense. His one flaw is that he seeks validation way too much. It’s one of the reasons why he stayed with the Decepticons for so long despite how harsh they were to him. He always sought out Megatron’s approval like in the beginning of the revolution but as the war dragged on and Megatron started to lose his grip on sanity, the praise became less and less. Eventually, he leaves the Decepticons because his Minicon was afraid of him getting hurt if he stayed. After the war, he becomes conjunxed to Arcee.
Missile is Vise’s Minicon. He was assigned to Vise to help him due to his blindness. Initially, Missile was annoyed with having to potentially babysit instead of help fight in the war, but he gradually started to see Vise as a brother and now they’re inseparable. He’s the more cautious and pragmatic of the two. Even though he and Vise defect, he’s still wary of the Autobots.
Pop-Tart was a joke character. It was based on a quote retweet I made on Twitter where the original post said “your Decepticon name is the last thing you ate + your first car.” Even though I don’t drive, I decided to make a Transformers character named “Pop-Tart” and see what happens. A handful of people liked him so he became an official OC. Anyway, he’s goofy and dumb. The only reason why he’s a Decepticon is because they recruited him first. Now they regret it because he’s the least competent bot you’ll ever meet. All Megatron sees in him is his strength and ability to follow orders. Also he has the hots for a human woman.
And that’s it! I’m like 95% sure I’ve never shared anything OC related before despite the handful of stuff I’ve shared about them on Twitter and Insta, so who knows. If I feel like if, I’ll post them here.
