Every morning, my children wake up hoping for a better day, starting their day with their pets, who have become a source of strength and resilience.

They miss their school desks, their toys, their warm home, and their room that once held their dreams. They reminisce about the beautiful days filled with joy and security, and they ask sadly: When will that life return?

Today, their worries are different; they wait for the water truck, they anticipate food, and they try to adapt to circumstances beyond their years.

We are in despair. Life has taken a heavy toll on me and my family; the children are suffering. We have spent everything we owned and, worse yet, are drowning in debt. The children are not attending school; life has become exhausting for them. Instead of studying, playing, and having fun, they are now occupied with fetching water and scrounging for food wherever they can. I still hope for a new day filled with happiness and joy, far removed from everything that has happened. We simply need your support.

I am writing these words while sitting in a worn-out tent in Gaza. My husband, my children, and I are trying to survive under unimaginable conditions 💔

Prices have risen beyond what we can bear, and we are unable to provide enough food or medicine for our children. We are surrounded by fear, hunger, and cold. Every night, my children go to sleep sick and exhausted. Their small bodies are exposed to germs, fleas, and mosquitoes, and the spread of diseases and epidemics threatens their lives at every moment 😢

We no longer have a home to protect us, nor a safe place to escape the war. Our tent cannot shield us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. My children suffer daily from itching, pain, and illness due to these harsh conditions and the lack of even basic hygiene and care.

My heart breaks as I watch my children suffer before my eyes, unable to protect them or provide them with a decent life. Every day, I feel helpless and afraid for them — from hunger, from illness, and from an uncertain future.

Because of the heavy rain and strong winds, my tent collapsed over our heads.

The water soaked everything… the blankets, the mattresses, our clothes, and even the little sense of safety we had left.

But the storm took even that away from us.

In that moment, the hardest part was not the cold or the rain…

Seven Children in the Cold — Please Help Us Survive 💔

I am a Palestinian mother of seven children.

After the war in Gaza, we lost our home, our security, and everything we had.

Today, my children and I live in a small tent that cannot protect us from the cold or the rain.

The nights are freezing, and my children sleep shivering, holding onto each other with very few blankets and no heater.
