This is such a moving and poignant moment as Jane tears up, waiting for Lisbon to say her “I do“. We probably saw their eyes glisten with tears more often in this episode than ever in the whole series, and this is all a demonstration of how deeply connected they are, and how much trust there is between them, and how affected they are by decisions the other takes that involve them both and mean that the project of life together they could only dream about some time ago is here, and it is working - because they want it to work so much.

Love how Jane’s eyes are darker than usual here, deep with emotion, as he lets his heart dominate. His look is full of joy and also very serious. He’s so determined to make the woman in front of him happy, and he’s promising it to her and to himself. He drinks the moment in, absorbs this happiness, for he so desperately wants it with his Teresa.
