Well, I am glad it wasn’t stressing for you, I would probably be still nervous if I was in your shoes, though I am really glad you didn’t. That’s awesome, man, where they live?

I was a little nervous that they wouldn’t like me in reallife but it was okay. Sam was there, so it was okay. My parents live in Reading.

That’s awesome, I didn’t expect anything less, meeting the family is always stressing at first but after we do, we always have fun. Sure, seems fun.

It wasn’t that stressing as I already talked to his parents before on skype. And he gave me tickets to visit my family for Christmas, which is just crazy and awesome as well. So excited for that. And yay, of course a dance party is fun.

Sam bit his lip nervously when Jeff opened up the bag. It was no secret to his family that Sam didn’t have much money. He’d had a talk with his mother explaining some of the situation. Of course he didn’t tell them what Job he had, but he mentioned that he wasn’t modelling anymore and that he and Jeff were working in the same place. So his mom had helped him sell what was left of his comics… they were just bits of paper. “You okay?” Sam asked when he noticed Jeff’s eyes get watery. he frowned, scared he’d done something wrong.

Jeff pulled Sam close for a kiss. When they parted he leaned his forehead against Sam’s. “That’s too much, really.” He whispered, voice a little hoarse. “I...we’re going to see my family for Christmas? What’s with your family? I mean...don’t you want to be with them for Christmas?” He was still glad he had booked that trip this weekend as Sam had been so happy back home. He had seen him smile like never before and it had been so worth it. “And how did you pay for it? It is so expensive...”

I am 18...I am 18...and my birthday was nice with Sam’s family and Sam there. Now we’re back though, so I want to celebrate with all of you somehow. Dance party in the common room maybe?

Jeff looked into the bag and got out the envelope first. When he opened it a letter and two tickets fell out. He looked at the tickets and when he saw that they were tickets to Philadelphia - with a train ticket included to Reading - he took a deep breath. Then he read the letter and couldn’t stop himself from tearing up. He couldn’t accept that. As much as he loved his family, he loved Sam as well and...wait stop...loved? He swallowed again. This definitely was too much. He looked up at Sam and bit his lip.

Late Birthday Present - handed to Jeff the day they leave in a bag.

Dear Jeff,

I know you didn’t really want anything but me and Mum both agreed that we were gonna get you something anyway. So… I put my savings for my new laptop in and Mom helped me sell a few bits and we got two tickets for you to go see your family too. There’s a catch: Well, not a catch. Something extra.

It’s at Christmas. We’ll be going to see your family for christmas. 

Oh, and we got you this cool ass robe cause I mean, I saw it and I couldn't not get it for you.
