oh she's delightful!! i've actually never heard of her before now so thank you for sharing! i do think that just from the images i'm seeing of her i think she's a bit too polished overall for andie who needs to be kind and joyous yes, but also very spunky and weird and someone who's piercing gaze cuts right to the heart of you and finds only something to love in what she sees. elle woods is ALWAYS going to be an andie vibe though 🩷

okay doing it myself now. ned & andie friendship. under the cut because technically spoilers adjacent, though nothing big at all:

they meet when ned is in nyc for the summer and andie, having just changed out of her lovebug costume sets off the sidey tracker. they get notifications for it on their phone at the same time and spider-man meme each other 😲🫵 😲🫵 and then andie has to fumble her way through an "ohuhm i think she's probably gone by now yeah i don't see her ☹️"

they chat about spidey tracker and ned invites andie to join the discord server (which is canon to me even if they don't actually say it in the movie) which andie has to make a discord in order to do. and then she'll ask him badly disguised surreptitious questions about how he thinks lovebug tech/gear works when she needs help figuring out how to fix it 👍 and they become internet friends

she also asks him how to connect her spotify and then it shows her pretty much exclusively listening to heart attack which isn't relevant to ned necessarily i just think it's funny

somewhere in the middle here they meet up again??? bc #friendship

he invites her to the housewarming maybe :) but she's just sort of there in the background bc i don't want to interrupt peter's story

once when lovebug saves ned (his first time meeting lovebug) she slips up and calls him by his name, brushing it off as her knowing him as the guy who set up spidey tracker. he's very excited that lovebug knows his name!

more friendship and shenanigans continue to ensue yayyyyy

HAPPY ANDIEVERSARY !!! andie and this blog turns three today, which is kind of an amazingly crazy concept to me. i have written more words in these three years (though. . . not that many recently) than probably in the rest of my life combined & i have met so many wonderful and delightful people that i am honored to get to call a friend. i initially thought up andie as a way to play in the world created by my best friend, who introduced me to the rpc, but it's come to be a very important place to me and andie has become so important to me. even when i am quiet recently, i love her and i love you all 🩷 i gained many new friends, i have seen friends fall in love, i have seen them start families, i've been introduced to new interests, done deep dives into research topics that i never would have thought to. it's brought me so much joy to be here with all of you and dare i say it's changed my life 🩷 i love you all so so dearly!!!!! remember kids, it's cool to be kind 😎
