Between Scylla and Charybdis.

‘My mate!’ Scylla shrieked. ‘I am not leaving my mate.’ Barely dodging the force of nature which was her mother, Scylla’s fins raised as she bared her fangs. Alas, Agathis wasn’t easily thrown off and upon the next turn, Scylla could not get out of the way fast enough. Arms closed around her chest, and Scylla felt the two of them launch forward again, away, the distance between her and her mate growing steadily.

Her heart pounded, her ears whistled. From the other cavern, loud roars and shrieks now rose. Amongst them, she could hear Charybdis’ scream her name. He was looking for her too. It was as if her heart would burst from her chest as she desperately called out to him. He needed help. She could feel it.

‘Let go! He’ll die! Let go of me!’ She flailed around in her mothers grasp.

Agathis whirled her daughter around, grabbing her by the shoulders and placing her so they were almost nose to nose.

‘Good! That’s one less problem to deal with, stupid girl!’ She emphasized every word by shaking her daughter mercilessly.

Hi, do you have other webcomics than Fins on WEBTOON ?

Not ones that I made much headway with. I used to draw a lot of animals and had a comic about a white cat and a fox, but that never got far. ;) (https://iridescentheartscomic.tumblr.com/)

I am working on a visual novel game/story for when 'Fins' concludes, called 'Dreameaters'. The art for it is a bit older by now, so I would have to redo a lot of it, or I might just turn it into a comic as well. Here's a picture from it.

do the merpeople get legs on land or do they just crawl

These ones don't get legs. They generally don't go on land if they can help it. The farthest they would go is climb on top of a rock or a sandbank to sunbathe. :P
