My dog needs extensive oral surgery in order to prolong her life and improve her quality of life. She’s been in my family for 15 years and she’s a real special gal.

To completely remove her teeth, (which will relieve the complications of her disease such as a perpetually clogged nose, jaw pain, and overactive liver enzyme) the specialist is quoting me at $5.9k-8.9k. I am working on applying for carecredit and other options but even if I qualify for carecredit it will only cover 1.8k.

Even though she’s 15, her blood work is consistently coming back good despite the elevated liver level that will go down after the chronic infection from her teeth is gone. The vets have said that she could live another 5-10 years after the infection is taken care of, since her periodontal disease is the source of all her health problems.

I took her back from my cousins who had her for a couple years so that I could keep her healthy and happy and it’s a part of my commitment to my dog’s wellbeing for me to be able to go forward with the procedure.
