Oak Ridge University, ORU for short, is a private university located in Northern California. Established 1854 the institution originated lots of reputable people in all kinds of academic fields and well-esteemed members of society. Their requirements are quite strict but they also take great care of their students, offering many activities such as clubs and events and also promoting their students’ growth with as many possibilities as they can. Lambda is having the ANNUAL BAKE SALE and everybody is excited. The girls spend days preparing for the big day, decorating everything and searching for the best recipes; the rest of the university is excited for the delicious baked goods they get to taste.Â
But it seemed one culprit sneaked into the sorority house and exchanged sugar with salt. Every dough the girls prepared beforehand is inedible and it seems like the Bake Sale is in danger this year. Will Lambda manage to pull the sale off or do they have to quit this year? And who was the culprit?
I thought of something smaller for the first verse event ever. I hope a lot of you take place in this. Threads and plots can happen around the bake sale, the planning or after it was discovered that the doughs were spoiled. It’s up to you which direction it goes. Drama? Humor? Who knows? Maybe your muses channel their inner Sherlock and Watson and investigate who is responsible for this? Or the Lambda girls plan revenge?

Short Bio(3 or 4 sentences are enough for the application): Nik always had a rocky relationship with both of his parents, so when he finally had a chance to move away from home, he took the final step to really piss them off. His dad had been the president of Rho once and expected his son to follow in his foot steps, but Nik decided to pledge for Iota and take the major he wanted to, instead of going with Political Science like his father. Felt like the first real victory he had over his parents in all these years and so he lives his life on the campus to the fullest.Â

Her mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and so on were Mu girls, so naturally she became one too. Katherine knows how to party but she is also extremely determined to have good grades and graduate with the highest GPA possible. If someone wants to get in her way, they feel the heat.

I think it's time for the first event to happen. Debating between two potential events I want you to vote if you would rather like some sort of dramatic event where no one gets seriously harmed but it causes quite a ruckus in the community Or some sort of fun mixer, something that gives the asociations and clubs a chance to represent themselves again and actually have them all work together?

A few weeks shy of graduating high shcool, puberty hit her like a truck and did wonders to her. So she started ORU as the new Erica and wants to make the most out of her new self. Izzy has always been trying to find her mother’s approval but going to university and being away from the continious monitoring of her mother, that changed. Now she finally wants to follow her dreams, doing what she loves instead of pleasing her mother. Starting with becoming a part of Lambda instead of Mu like her mother once was.Â
First of all let me say I love this group verse! It's an amazing idea and every single blog participating is great and I bow down to your creativity. I just made this rp blog and I would love to take part in the verse. You said Mu girls are needed but I rather see Izzy as a Lambda girl. Would that be okay for you? Or is Lambda closed for now?
Okay, before I answer your question: Thank you! I think I speak for everyone involved in this group verse when I say that you are very kind and it’s great to hear something like this. A great confidence boost! Again thank you. Your blog looks great too if we are being honest here.
It’s true Mu is the only sorority we didn’t get any application for yet but I hope that changes soon. Yet Lambda is not closed, neither are the frats. You can still apply for every sorority/fraternity. So yes, I would love to receive your application for Lambda and we would love to welcome you in our verse.Â

The campus is very scenic with lots of trees and lawn for students to sit and read or simply take a walk to clear their heads. The big library is located at the northernmost point of the campus and gives a spectacular view of the lake on the campus and the forest surrounding the university. Not far away is a small town where students can buy everything they don’t get on campus which isn’t much but you know sometimes it’s just nice toleave the gates of Oak Ridge behind and have a stroll through the local supermarket or just talk to people not involved in ORU.
Of course like every other university and college in the states, there are fraternities and sororities and they all have their individual reputation. Also while it’s not a requirement being part of the Greek system, if you are your students’ association says more about you than your CV ever could.

Basic Stuff
This all-human, fandomless, independent group verse is open to any muse of any fandom, faceclaim, sexuality and race. Multimuse blogs are welcome to apply too, even allowed to throw in as many of their muses as they want.
That being said I kindly ask you all to follow the rules as they are stated below:
~ I know real life always comes first and muses can be difficult but please try to be active in the verse. I won’t do activity checks but I kindly ask you to try your best.
~ Bigger events will be happening and of course willbe announced by me beforehand. That can be parties, exam week or other fun content that will stir the dynamic a bit and hopefully gives you even more inspiration. Â
~ This is probably the most obvious rule but still: Respect each other! IC drama is fun and allowed, but OOC drama won’t be tolerated. You will get kicked out of the verse if you start hate.
~ No duplicated faceclaims unless we talked about this. Meaning two Muns with the same faceclaim are allowed to play as twins and such. Â
~ No ships are set and all established relationships, no matter what kind, must be discussed between the Muns.

The Greek System
Before listing the fraternities and sororities just a clarification: Your character doesn’t have to be part of a students’ association. This group verse doesn’t revolve just around the Greek system but the whole university life at Oak Ridge. If your character wants to be independent that’s completely fine, just state it in the application.
Sororities
Lambda Kappa Phi (ΛΚΦ) – The sorority that took up the cause to show women are more than just pretty faces and should get as much respect as men. Excel at academics and athletics.
Mu Delta Nu (ΜΔΝ) – Sisters of that sorority are known to be very competitive and driven by the motivation to be better than anybody else. Direct rivals of ΛΚΦ.
Fraternities
Rho Gamma Psi (ΡΓΨ) – Not the stereotypical jocks of campus, even though many of them hold athletic scholar ships, but definitely the poster boys of ORU. Very popular and loved around the students, these boys are known for not only being great at sports and most academics but also because of philanthropy.
Iota Alpha Chi (ΙΑΧ) – A fraternity that is all about the mix and is prejudiced to have no standards at all. Members are ill-reputed as having no drive, no matter how good their academic achievements might be. Basically the direct opposite of ΡΓΨ.
