@oaths-and-anchors
Hello all,
You may have noticed I don’t post on Tumblr as much as I use to. Good news, I haven’t stopped writing. I can finally say I am working on a book to publish! Bad News. Little to no new poetry production being spat out on Tumblr. BUT. If anyone wants to talk, i’ll still be quite active for some of my favorite blogs and those that want me to check out their work. If you want, follow my newly created Instagram here @ t.l.r_pages where I will eventually release sneak peeks from my upcoming book.

Thanks to all of you who still come by to read my work and to the new who are coming. I hope that even one word of my poetry made you feel like you matter because you have all made me feel like my words do.
Stay Alive. You Matter.

Some days they wear sunglasses to get over your glow you can mimic the sun and still be offensive run through a field of wildflowers but it is so strange to be wild with it.. come back to what you know you are getting out of hand conform. they raise their guns they don’t recognize you…

There are infinite ways to learn. You won't be the first to think you "can't. You won't be the last to say "I did."

Traveling will take you places you have never been inside yourself. You are literally a world of your own.

Sometimes you love them and they do not know how to receive
T.L.R- but there is nothing wrong with your love
I should thank the man who told me I was boring. Sometimes all we need is a violent shaking. Something to make our heads whip backwards. To recall that you were once such a thing as wild in the hard palate of other men too. And it’s alright to miss it to be that again.
T.L.R- the things we forget we become to fit
You're going to find something about you that you don't agree with that does not sit right deep within the red meat of you this is the part of world culture your mothers wanted to wring out of your bloodstream
T.L.R-
5:15am I am in love with my thoughts again do not take life so seriously that you forget how...

My body is mine. I dont need to suck in for you nor wait to push back You do not deserve lung work. you are not keeping me alive.
T.L.R- Lung Work
I will be easy before I become hard overdose runs in my family I need to know how much of me you can take

Not every flower that grows is meant for a garden.
T.L.R-
You had me all wrong. thought I would be a private ocean for you bring the tide when you call recede with a wave of your hand but I drown too… and I think you forgot when to hold your breath. got comfortable… complacent. watching the bodies wash up on beach sand… never thinking one day it could be you.
T.L.R- Predict This
but I love this freedom more than I miss you and I have to be proud of that

His hand pressed into the universe of her throat every star depleted combusting of angst and throbbing Her elbow breaking into the tunnel of his trachea there is a door that both refuse to walk through They’ve made a home out of severed spleen and siren …live now only off of their infants breath and this is why some look like sacrifice.

You are the last pebble on a shorelinethe sun a glimmer spilling across the coloring of your glass like appearance…He takes you in his palmgripping the light fromyouthrows your reminisce into the waters reflection…You are a prize…and he knows itYou are braveand he won’tdare say it….You bent backwardsturning your body into contortions assuming at some pointthe shape you might become would give him satisfaction…You are a parade in his headand you exhaust himlike a dance floor…but the laughter in your lungsgives you lifeand you will twirland fold into someone else’s arms one day…one that won’t try to tamethe unruly spirit that you arelike simple hairs growing from a head of etiquette…You make ripples;and its not your fault some only knowhow to plummet
