This is going to be the culmination of my time as a Roundhouse Resident Artist and mark the next stage in the development of this show. It really meant a lot to have all of your support. <3 I've had the news that @aceagrams have accepted my funding proposal for this Research & Development phase of the piece. I honestly was not expecting my application to be successful, I think it's just easier to mentally prepare for a rejection as they do tend to come thick and fast #artistlife. Next stop I'll be taking the show up to @roughtradenottm on the 10th Feb as part of the @uk.youngartists City Takeover. Beyond that, I'll be hatching plans for future dates and schemes, so keep your eyes peeled... Hello friends and lovers, you may have already seen the event for my solo show doing the rounds. If you haven't here's the T: I'm going to be performing the first feature length version of my solo performance piece, winegod in the basement of (where else?) @thegloryldn on 29/01/18. It's a Tuesday evening, so what else are you doing reheheaally? The show itself is looking at Dionysos/Bacchus as a queer deity that was suppressed, brutally and violently. It's exploring how queer people have literally existed since ancient times. It's looking at the world we live in today and where a god of the undying cycles of death and rebirth fits in to a world on the brink of... something. It's a performance, it's a ritual, it's a group of people in a room together sharing in something. That's if you come of course. This has been an idea in my being for a very long time now, so it really would mean a lot to see some of your beautiful faces there.
