I’m sorry everyone. I’ve come to the decision that I will not be doing the years obikin week. My health has gotten worse lately (rip my immune system and health). I will be doing it next year though!❤️ Again I’m sorry for disappointing y’all I know many of you were looking forward to it this year.:(

Hello, I'm reaching out because I know you won't be able to run the Obikin week this year, and wanted to say I've started up an Obikin Events blog. While my initial plan was to just do weekend events, maybe a bingo or exchange. But because I know you do annual week, I'd be happy to run one this year and then defer it back to you if you'd like.

Hi!! ❤️ I’m super sorry for the late response!! I’m not entirely sure if I’ll be running the event again this year reason being that I’m currently running a zine for a different fandom and that won’t be done until August. Obikin 2021: Day 3 - Crash landing / Stranded

Stranded on a Outer Rim planet, ship sinked and with Separatist forces looking for them. The two Jedi are able to find shelter behind a waterfall and take some time to rest and dry their clothes, while waiting for rescue.

Anakin has a tiny revelation.

AU Idea: In matter of days, Tatooine would join the Republic, as a one of its systems. However, Hutts, who had ruled over it for many years, weren’t pleased with this proceeding. Suddenly, there was an attack on Representative Skywalker, during which he was nearly killed. Due to that the Supreme Chancellor asked the Jedi Order to assign one of Knights as Anakin’s bodyguard. Someone, with whom, the Representative  was already familiar with - for example, Master Kenobi. It seemed as a good solution, however personally - Anakin could hardly stand the man, as it was him, who discouraged the Council to train him as a Jedi ten years ago.

Went wild for the last day of Obikin week and used all three prompts: Bodyguard AU — “I will always come for you.” — Protectiveness, so here’s an AU with Obi-Wan as the personal Knight of the Chosen One that will haunt me for a while:

The Force is angry, the Jedi say. The Force has been angry for some time, now.

There is no braid in his hair, —there has never been a braid in his hair— masters bow too low in front of him and padawans’ whispers are always louder when he’s close by.

The Force is angry and the war is at our door, but the Chosen One is here. The Chosen One will save us all.

Clone Rights, Security, and Shared Crushes:

Summary-

Obi-Wan Kenobi was one of the most well known performers in the galaxy, and certainly the most famous from Stewjon. He didn't care about being tin the public eye though, and refused to censor himself for it. Which explained why stating his opinion of Clone Rights so fiercely got him in the predicament of needing a personal guard. If he had to be stuck with security, at least it was with someone as intriguing as Anakin Skywalker.

Anakin Skywalker left the Jedi Order when his twins were born and he lost his wife. Alongside his former Padawan and GAR brothers, he started a security firm. He had never expected it to go as far as it had. Nor had he thought he'd get the chance to meet, and protect, his newfound celebrity crush. He really should learn to stop having expectations.

She laughed and he groaned. Her teasing was a jest, which he was grateful for. Especially because there was no way he’d get Anakin Skywalker as a personal bodyguard. If he did, he wasn’t really sure what he’d do with himself, because if it was possible for celebrities to have a celebrity crush, Skywalker was most certainly his.

He could never break a promise to her, so he let the crush happen. He figured it was just pure aesthetics. A surface crush on a beautiful man. Until the singer started ardently standing up for clone rights. Obi-Wan Kenobi was talented, beautiful and a very good, pure man. Anakin’s only consolation was that he’d never actually meet the man in person. He could be as attracted as he wanted and it meant nothing. 

Then, Ahsoka managed to ruin that detachment when she came into his office with a cheeky grin that had him sighing.
