This post will always reflect whether or not this blog is open for submissions. Submissions are open!

Welcome to Objectum Waifu of the Day. (The name is ironic. This is not an anime blog; it's a parody of tumblr accounts like "lesserknownwaifus".) Here you can submit objects that may be "waifu material".

About me:

Hi. I'm an adult. I'm OR+OS. I like computers a lot. I run this blog.

Some tips that make your submission better:

Include name and source of object. For media the source is the name of the media. For real life try naming the manufacturer or location if possible

I might decline submissions for comfort reasons.

Objects with canonical sapience / who have actual partners, relationships, or romantic connections are prime waifu material. (God that phrasing is so bad)

Ideally, submissions should be objects from a piece of media, or real-life objects and products. Please do not submit OCs. I should be able to easily gather images or screenshots of the object myself/off Google Images.

Please do not submit your specific named object partners. You can submit the object they're based on; for example, the plushie that your partner is based on, but not specifically your partner that you're in possession of.

Source material should not be pornography. They can still be from mature-rated media. (I don't want to define the nuances of this. When in doubt, the worst thing that can happen is that I deny your submission, that's it.)

There are some media that I won't publish submissions of, especially if they're full of bigotry or are associated with such. (I won't define this list; again, I'll just deny the submission.)

Remember: I will not block you for "bad" submissions no matter what, unless you're doing so with the explicit intent of hurting me. If I slip up and you believe a submission should be removed, feel free to message me.

Objectum Media News: Welcome to Objectum Media! Grand Opening

Objectum Media is a hub for members of the Objectum and POSIC communities to recommend media to each other. We run a website at objectum-media.neocities.org, which we intend to use to host objectum resources and maintain a list of media recommendations.

Objectum Media is for people who:

★ Likes to share media about sentient objects / object relationships ★ Is looking for media that fits this description ★ Wants to discuss this type of media with other objectums ★ Is interested in the "indie web" movement and personal websites, and would like to see the objectum community grow in these spaces

If you're interested in joining the Objectum Media community, we also have a Discord server. Anyone may join the Discord to subscribe to and receive updates for the website, but for the time being, only 16+ members may gain access to the social channels. This restriction may change or be removed at a later date.

Media submissions are also open; media can be recommended through the askbox or on our Discord server. They will be added to our website's queue for a volunteer to get to. If you would like to volunteer to write an entry, take a look at our volunteer guidelines and consult the Discord server!
