kinda serious topic but if there's any young object show or any media creator, from personal experience, I'd like you all to know something.

Yes, media making is typically a game of luck for fame. Yes, people are going to hate on you for whatever reason if you get your name out there. Yes, media is difficult to make a paying living out of.

But if you enjoy it, who gives a fuck?

This is coming from someone currently healing from a depressive and hopelessness episode. A previous member and close friend on the team (who will not be specified) convinced me that Object Zero wasn't something to hope on, it was never going to work no matter how hard I tried, that I should go try and get work on something big like medical or law jobs/schools. People will tell you that a lot, I suppose.

There's a part in the Stanley Parable; Ultra Deluxe I rather enjoy, and that's in the epilogue where the Timekeeper tells Stanley how they can run the franchise into the ground without caring about the legacy or the reviews of the game. It's something you enjoy making, its your own creation, and it's basically putting the things you cook in your head on the Internet. That may or may not get popular. Fame is certainly a goal in most media. It makes the kind of things you like and care about cared about by other people, and that can be really reassuring, especially if you're a loserboy like me.

If you want to make your media, fucking make it! Create as much lore as you want! Run it into the dirt! I guarantee you not only will at least a small amount of people like it, but you'll feel better about yourself. Working on what you really care about.
