Hey fellow artists, I just wanted to share something important that happened to me recently — just in case it helps someone avoid a similar situation

A few weeks ago, I started posting my art on Tumblr. Two days ago, someone messaged me asking for a request. Since I’m not a native English speaker (I’m using a translator), I didn’t think too much about it and assumed they just wanted a drawing

But soon, they asked for my Discord, saying that Tumblr’s chat system was bad. At first, I agreed and drew 1–2 pieces for them. However, they started asking for more and more — including NSFW requests — and they constantly asked for updates, almost every few minutes.

It got really uncomfortable when they said they would call me if I didn’t send the drawing, even though we had just started talking the day before. That crossed a boundary for me, so I decided to block them.

Just a reminder to all artists out there: you’re never obligated to share your Discord, voice call, or draw things you’re not comfortable with — especially for free. If something feels off, it’s okay to say no or block someone. Your safety and peace of mind come first.

do u yumeship/selfship? also what would you say is the thing that makes you obsess over Cecil the most? (as a Cecil simp myself, i would say mine is his attitude and the fact that he's prob very lonely although he's the most powerful man in the world, like he doesn't have anything else besides Donald and his work- also a lot of other things, but I don't wanna ramble too much abt it hehe)
