So I've been doing research on Superboy-Prime and I finally got his debute comic the other day!!

Yaay!!

Headcanon that Superboy-Prime has that scar on his elbow all boys seem to have for some reason

Like, I had two brothers, they both got this deep scar on their elbows from doing something stupid or other

It's always their left for some reason??

In his debut comic, there's a little section for his origin story. And it showed that he tried out for sports as a teenager, one of them being baseball

He'd definitely have gotten a scar or something from that, and just human living?? Scars in his knees from scraps, miscellaneous things

Superman doesn't have scars, can't really get them. But Superboy-Prime?? Definitely has some and stories to go along with each one

I'd love to hear him ramble about them

I'm working at a hospital (as a barista but I like to pretend) and the uniforms and the way this place is set up I can't help but imagine it to be like the watchtower

I remember in some of the Justice League Unlimited shows and the like they had little workers there

That Bruce no doubt looked into himself, paranoid fuck

And it's fueling my SBP x reader fanfiction thoughts

I know people find those things cringe, me too bro, but also, it's kind of nostalgic as that's how most got into fanfiction in ye olden days

I think SBP would find it funny to be part of a x reader fic

I like being the barbie of the hospitality world

I've worked nearly every hospitality job there is, and plan to continue this trend

Worked retail, dinner, breakfast nook, smoke shop, was even a professional cleaner for a bit

My newest job is a batista in a hospital, a HOSPITAL, it's so fun I'm killing two birds with one stone

Sure, it's not all that impressive, minimum wage workers probably have any number of those job titles on their resume or more

But it feels like a lot to me and this gives me insight to put into whatever fics I decide to write

Having a love-hate relationship with Jason Todd really is the bane of my existence

Because I love him, I love him so much as a person. I get where he's coming from, I love little Jaybin, baby jaybird. His morals and how he sees the world because of the life he lived so young, the life he's living now because of the tragedy he suffered

I also adore his snarky personality, how soft he can be if someone just offers presence instead of pushing, time and effort instead of gifts and words

But then I look at him and I see so many parts of myself that I feel like I'm looking into a mirror and I fucking. Hate. Mirrors.

Superboy-Prime rant ish?? It's like, 3am and I'm so tired but I keep thinking about this

I think I'd be SBP if I were given powers

Like, it's that thing if you and your bestie were given powers and you both said you could save the world but in wildly different meanings

Yeah, I'd be SBP if I were given powers, even the redemption arc because I'd try to use my powers for my version of "good" but end up seeing how much I've destroyed in the process

I've always been attached to the Injustice worlds before SBP, how much I sympathized with Superman for being peace to the world whether they liked it or not

But I can also see why that would never really work, how truly dystopian that is, how it should never happen and we should fight to keep it from happening

But. Every now and again, when I get fed up with it all.. I can't help but close my eyes and live in the fantasy that there's no wrong in the world and it's a shame I had to break someone's arm to make it so

There's too many similarities (in the newish comics) between me and SBP than I'm willing to look at right now

I'm fine being the Anakin of the story, the Leia if I must, but I'm also human, and my heart is too big for my own good, so I'll do damage, and then I'll want to fix it because wish logic really does suck

Went to ComicCon this weekend and went to a comic store with a friend, got that list down to 43 collections!
