In an announcement just in time for Halloween and “Rocky Horror Picture Show” fans, MAC has just revealed a beauty collection named after the cult classic musical. Expected to launch online Sept. 21 and in stores on Oct. 2, the 21 piece collection will come in black packaging and will feature the iconic red lip film logo. According to James Gager, MAC’s senior vice president and creative director, the characters from the film have inspired most of the beauty looks from the collection. The 1975 film features Hollywood heavy hitters, such as Susan Sarandon, Tim Curry and Meatloaf, all who wear vampy, glam makeup looks throughout the film. Dammit, MAC, we love you. Enter Shark Week, Discovery’s week long programming centered around all things sharks. But shark week, which starts this Monday, is not limited to just the Discovery Channel. The Syfy Channel just released Sharknado 2 this past weekend, and many others— both websites and TV networks—plan to participate in celebrating Shark Week, too.

Guess which two powerhouse icons are teaming up for a wickedly fashionable collaboration?
None other than the red-sole designer Christian Louboutin and the statuesque Angelina Jolie.
Not only did Jolie receive rave reviews for her role in the successful Disney movie, “Maleficent,” but the custom Christian Louboutin shoes she wore while promoting the film also received its share of attention. Which is why the two have decided to make footwear inspired by Jolie’s “Maleficent” character fall’s new trend!
The limited-edition shoe, called “Malangeli,” features mesh panels and a sculpted heel in the shape of smoke and will retail for $1599. Pretty fierce, right?
Expected to be released in October and custom produced on a made-to-order basis by calling the Christian Louboutin’s Mount Street store at 020 7491 0033, proceeds from the sales of the “Malageli” show will benefit SOS Children’s Villages.
We expect this treat to be nothing short of Maleficently Magnificent!
