Here’s a little recap of what my October looked like
Leaving home for a six-month exchange was the scariest thing I’ve ever done. Here are my last few days in Adelaide
I’ve started a little travel blog for my semester abroad where I hope to post some videos and some written pieces as well. If you’d like to check it out, give it a follow!
tumblr please let me reblog ads
me and the lads getting fancy in the bog
And they lived happily ever after.
TOMORROW IS THE 4-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF HIM DOING IT TO US

postcards say IM HERE. IM HERE AND I LOVE YOU. IN THIS SPACE AND TIME AND WHEREVER AND WHENEVER YOU ARE. THERE IS A SPACE BETWEEN THOSE SPACES THAT CONNECTS US AND ITS FULL OF LOVE. I’LL MEET YOU THERE.
same energy
My method of getting kids not to swear at camp was just to appeal to their sense of fairness.
Child: “Fuck!”
Me: “Hey! I’m not allowed to swear in front of you guys. It’s not fair if you swear in front of me, is it?”
Child: “I guess not… sorry…”
Sometimes I’d work with teenagers and facilitate activities like giant swing or zipline, which involve full-body harnesses that get Wildly Uncomfortable in the crotch areas. The younger kids didn’t mind it, but those burdened by more of the wonderful gifts of puberty had some things to complain about.
And complain they would! I think 15 year old boys are contractually obligated to shout “THIS HURTS MY BALLS!” at the top of their lungs every time they’re in a harness. To combat this, I’d warn them about the pain ahead of time and tell them that if they need to come down, I’ll help them down immediately. “However, I don’t get paid enough to listen to teenagers scream about their genitals for an hour. If you have to scream, we’re gonna call them ‘your honor’, okay?”
Teenagers screaming “OH NO! MY HONOR!” while swinging through the canopy? Hilarious.
Who knew one could be nostalgic for this? I sure am.
OP turned a bunch of teenagers into fucking zuko.

*spends all of my time alone* perfect! but why am i crazy
u kno u can like... hold corporations accountable for waste and criticize movements about fuckin straws or whatever but like. also still take steps to lower ur own carbon footprint bc an entire lifetime of plastic waste more well-managed is still productive. like yeah no one can say that you personally made shit as drastic as it is now, thats on corporations, and we need to end them, but also laughing off attempts to promote more ecologically friendly choices in individuals is still an asshole move
Amy Adams could do The Revenant but Leonardo DiCaprio could never do Enchanted.
National Voter Registration Day is Sept. 24
It’s a single, coordinated day when THOUSANDS of nonprofits across the country join corporations like Tumblr, Google, EBay, MTV and more to raise awareness of and hold events to register as many eligible voters as possible! Why is voter registration important? If you’re interested in having a say in WHO gets to confirm judges, create budgets for police and education in YOUR neighborhood, you’ll need to vote in November. But you can’t vote if you’re not #VoteReady – which means: go get registered! This year, we’re aiming for over 250k registrations and with your help we know we can make it. How can you help:
First, take TWO minutes to make sure you’re registered by going to nationalvoterregistrationday.org/register OR see if you there are voter registration events in your neighborhood.
Second, spread the word on social media using the official hashtags #NationalVoterRegistrationDay and #VoteReady. Need some help? We have some sample posts you can use here and here.
Did you got out and get registered? Take some pics? Share them with us right here!
Join the celebration and make sure you are #VoteReady!
Republicans are the enemy of the state.
Remember that the free press’ ability to report the stated activities of the government to the people is part of the public record, one that can be used against a government that ignores the law of the land.
