“Hi- sorry- I’m sorry for bothering you. Can you please help me? I’m a little lost honestly in the town, generally speaking-” Leila spoke as she blew a puff of air from her cheeks, looking around the surroundings a little dumb founded. Having crashed - quite literally, she had the bruises to prove it -, into Hooboo; Leila was still trying to find her footing in a town she barely knew. With a job she managed to scramble for today to pay for the bed and breakfast she was currently setting herself up in, to say she was lacking in practically well - everything -, asking for a little help couldn’t be the end of the world.

Humming her way back home after work, Karo barely even heard the other girl. Turning towards her, it took her a few moments before really understanding what she was asking. “You certainly did not ask the right person.” She expressed, a light grin on her lips. Until she realized this probably wasn’t the right way to react. “I mean, I can barely find my way home and to work but… I guess I could help you. Or we could get lost together.”

Magdalena just kept her head down and didn’t say anything for a long while. Slowly she pulled the magazine back onto her lap. “I–I was just trying to look for some tips, is all.” Her face turned a light shade of red.

Her eyes looked down at the magazine, interest only growing stronger. “Fashion tips? I can definitely try to help with that. What’s the big event? Trying to impress someone, a job interview, a wedding?”

“You could say that,” Teddy lowered his head more, just barely glancing up at the sky.  "Thank you?“ he replied, an uncertainty to his voice. "That would be very much appreciated, or anything of the sort while we’re at it.”

“Well, that surely reduces the amount of possible conversation topics.” Karo commented, a light grin on her lips. “What about chicken breasts? I mean, they’re still breasts, but it’s chicken. Would that still make you uncomfortable?”

“There’s a spell for enlarging things, haven’t tried it on my own boobs but it might?” Nirvana shrugged, arching an eyebrow in surprise at the other’s enthusiasm. “I feel like it’d get tiring after a while, but then I guess some people are more comfortable with their bodies than others, you can always give the spell a try?”

“Yeah, to enlarge things. But breasts aren’t really things, but body parts. I’m not sure it’d work.” She commented, staying thoughtfully silent for a moment. “What if it enlarges my whole body and turns me into a giant? And then when I try to minimize myself, I turn into a Smurf? Minus the blue skin.”

Magdalena quickly glanced at her magazine. Her finger was stuck between the papers to save her place. “Nothing,” she said. Her face flushed a little. She couldn’t understand how someone could just walk up to a stranger and start talking to them.

“It doesn’t really look like nothing.” Karo commented, going across the bench to sit beside the other girl. She always felt at ease, going over to people, especially when they needed help. And she did look a little helpless. “And maybe if you told me, I could give you my opinion. Or help. Whatever the matter at hand is.”

“Ok, this is really serious, can you please listen to me?” Karo started, leaning closer to the other just to make sure they’d listen. “So I was coming home after work a few days ago. And someone was following me. I thought it was nothing because when I reached my apartment, there was no one behind me. But then, the next morning, when I left for work, there was someone behind me again.” Taking a pause, she took an overly dramatic expression. “I think someone’s stalking me.”

Magdalena was sitting on a park bench. Her back was curved as she leaned over her knees, which had a magazine draped over them. She was reading an article about make-up and fashion. Normally, Magdalena wasn’t the type to read magazines like this, but she was desperate to find a new look–something to catch her boyfriends attention and distract him from all the horror going on in his life. As she was reading a shadow fell over her. Magdalena quickly shut the magazine and tried to hide it from the prying eyes. “What?”

To say that Karolina was curious would be an understatement. If she could be paid to stuck her nose in other people’s business, she’d probably be the richest person on this island. So obviously, when her eyes spotted the girl looking at a magazine, she couldn’t stop herself from getting closer, peeking over her shoulder to see what she was reading about. “Sorry. I don’t mean to be rude or interfere in your personal life but, what’s that you’re reading about?”
