Okay. I'm gone.

And if I don’t? You realize you still haven’t answered my question.
Then I will.

Está ese cosa, llamás sarcasmo.
That's nice. Now go away.
Wandering
Before two years ago, Touya never wandered. Sure, he went on a journey and he ran around the region, fighting trainers and earning badges, but it was never wandering in his terms. He always had a goal to follow and an exact idea of where he wanted to go -- whichever gym or city was next, and he pushed on until he got there. Once he achieved the rank of champion and abandoned it to follow his friend, however, that's when he really started to 'wander.' Even though he knew what he was trying to do, he never knew how he was going to do it, and eventually, as his hope started to fade away, he just ended up traveling around regions aimlessly, unsure of where he was actually supposed to be looking.
Disdain
Touya often holds a lot of people in disdain. Over the years, he's grown to think of himself as somewhat better than a lot of people, even though he's really not. He tends to think that his opinions are right and that if anyone thinks otherwise, then they aren't worth arguing with -- it's as simple as that. It's a huge negative of his, but the brunette just doesn't have the willingness to push past it.
However, it can be taken another way, too -- Touya feels as if other people look at him in disdain, as well. He doesn't like that at all and he often times doesn't give others a chance to prove otherwise once the former champion thinks they were looking down on him. He'll name them an enemy in his book and that'll be final.
“Yeah! That sounds awesome!”
“I’ll go right away and meet you there!”
"Mmm! I'll see you there!"

Aww, you think I’m pushy? How sweet! ¡Usted es el pelotudo hijo de una puta!
No entiendo idiota.
“Oh, you’re such a sweet talker~”
“My! You’re right! It’s been quite a long time, hasn’t it? We should catch up! Maybe we can do lunch? Or how about a trip to the Nimbasa Amusement Park!”
"Hey, that's me!"
"Anyway, yeah, we really should! Y'know, both of those ideas sound great, but -- how about lunch at the amusement park? We can kill two birds with one stone."
farfromfloral replied to your post:
Well, as the definition of “virtue” says, everything is right!
I don't think so, but I also don't care for your pushy attitude.

Awww! Do you really think I’m cute?
Yeah, of course! I said so, didn't I? And who am I to lie--
Oh! That reminds me. I haven't seen you in a while...
Fine. I'll talk less. Now answer me: what the mother-frickin' hell is wrong with being a virgin?
What's not?
“Pokewood has a king?”
Oh, wait. Maybe that was sarcasm.
Well, regardless.
She shuffled forward and made a grab for his hat when he backed away, but ultimately fell just about an inch short. “Why not?! All yer hair’s in ‘da way, I can’t get a good look!”
She teetered on her tip-toes for a moment, grabbing for the hat once more. “C’mon, if ya don’t lemme see it right now I’s gonna smash yer head in and ‘den ‘dere’s gonna be blood and clumps’a hair all over it, and neither one’a us wants ‘dat, do we?”
Kris dropped back down to being flat-footed and held out a hand expectantly. “So lemme see. I just wanna know where ya got it, and maybe see if ‘dey sell Red’s hat ‘dere too.”
He rolled his eyes and took just one more step back, not even wanting to imagine her touching his hat. It was damn sacred, thank you very much, and he wouldn't have just anyone laying their hands on it. In fact, there were only about five people who could touch him besides himself, so that wasn't a very large amount considering how many people Touya had met on his travels and as of recently, too.
The Unovian didn't really understand how she could go from silly to trying to be intimidating, but it wasn't really working out. Her threats were practically empty to him and, even if she did try something, Touya wasn't against hitting a girl if it came down to self defense, so Kris didn't really phase him at all.
"I didn't buy it -- it was given to me, and it's custom, so no," he replied, an annoyed tone appearing in his voice. She was pushing his buttons way too quickly now. "So just give up about it. Seriously."
Lyra’s eyes ran up and down Touya and she let out a light giggle. He clearly knew what she was getting at. Thank God. Sometimes boys could be quite stupid. Luckily, he was not.
She stepped up to him, taking it upon herself to trail her fingers from Touya’s shoulder to his chest through the fabric of his jacket. Looking up at the brunet, she tilted her head, her flirtatious smile still strewn across her face.
“I can do that,” Lyra responded, her eyes twinkling with excitement. God, he was really cute — and only getting cuter by the second. “When are you free, Touya?”
The sound of her laugh was something that he was starting to like. It was cute -- like, whoa, really cute, and he admired cuteness in a girl, but then again, who didn't?
Once she approached him and her hand was on him, even if it was only the light trace of her finger, he definitely was more excited about the whole situation. Touya hadn't gotten himself in this position in a long time, as stated before, and so that just added to his eagerness for sure, and the fact that she was being more hot than she actually needed to be to get his attention was something that tickled his fancy. Huh.
A grin spread across his face as the former champion leaned in even closer to whisper in her ear, his warm breath practically on her neck as he spoke. "Y'know, coincidentally, I'm free whenever you are."
The constant whiplash of whether she liked this schmuck or not was really doing poor Kris in.
“I— I ain’t slow!” she declared, puffing out her cheeks and flushing a bit red. “I graduated Pokemon Academy when I was just fourteen, and I was valedictorian too! I’s got published research papers out ‘dere!”
Thankfully for both parties, Kris didn’t pick up on how condescendingly she was being treated. “If y’ain’t heard’a me, it’s probably ‘cause ya forgot,” she said, a bit of venomous flare to her tone. “But I’s never heard’a—”
Her words dropped off suddenly, her wide-eyed gaze trained on Touya’s hat like a feline’s gaze might be trained on a string. It was obvious as her eyes moved back and forth in time with Touya’s hand, watching the hat as if she literally could not tear her attention from it.
“I… like yer hat,” she finally said, hardly more than a breath. One of her hands reached up for it. “I wanna see it.”
"Sure you did," Touya said almost flatly, "and I'm the king of Pokewood. I guess we're pretty even, huh." Even though she said that, he had a hard time believing that she graduated from any school. In the brunette's eyes, she was way too stupid for that and he refused to believe otherwise until proven otherwise by being shown the papers that this information was supposedly printed in.
He grunted, almost sounded frustrated, at her next statement, but he decided not to comment on it. No, he really had never heard of her. Touya wasn't one to forget things, or at least he thought so, so it was annoying that she would accuse him of such, even though Kris didn't really know anything about him.
Touya was momentarily confused by her distracted attitude, but he took a step back when she reached up for his hat, shaking his head furiously. "No," he said seriously. "I don't let just anymore see it, and that includes you. I don't trust anyone with it, especially people I hardly know. So, uh, no."
Lyra smirked as Touya moved closer to her, her eyes drilling into his own. She placed her hands in the pockets of her overalls, rocking back and forth on her toes and heels a little bit.
She raised an eyebrow at his response, her smile widening. They appeared to be on the same level. That was definitely a good thing.
“Oh I get you,” Lyra said, pulling a hand from her pocket to twirl a few strands of hair in her fingers. She subtly licked her lips. “I’m the same way, actually. Maybe we should go out and talk about that.”
He liked this Lyra girl; Touya liked how she could keep up and stay on the same track as him.. constantly, it seemed. It was something refreshing, because he was sure that by now, even though he hadn't said anything explicit, the girls he was used to seeing around would be blushing and not flirting back anymore. That was exactly why he never approached them and actually hadn't ever thought about it more than once, so to meet a girl who made him think twice was pretty damn nice, if he did say so himself.
Touya brought up a hand to pull at the collar of his jacket --as if it were hot -- for effect, and his smirk remained steady as he chuckled softly. "Mmm..? I like that idea, y'know. We should definitely do that. I mean, you're from Johto, right? Maybe you could show me around and we could take that as an opportunity to talk."
She reeked of…?
Kris sniffed the inside of her wrist curiously. She didn’t smell any different… but then again, what did ‘the virgin’ smell like? She moved on to sniff one of her pigtails. Nope, still nada. She smelled kind of like nature, but that wasn’t a new smell either…
Whatever, this schmuck was probably too stupid to even spell ’virgin’.
But at least he was showing signs of wanting to learn! That already put him ahead of about fifty percent of the rest of the schmucks in the world. And acknowledging her as a good teacher? He basically hopped into the top fifteen percentile in one breath.
“‘Dat’s more like it, pally!” she exclaimed, placing a hand on her hip. “If ‘dey managed ta teach Koko ‘da primeape over two thousand words in sign language, I can probably teach ya some rudimentary basics!”
At the point, she gestured to herself with a bit of a flourish. “‘Da name’s Kris. Ya probably heard’a me; y’know, ‘da girl who caught erry pokemon known ta man?” She jutted her chin out in no sign of modesty. “And what can I call you, kid?”
He had to bite the inside of his cheek to resist the urge to laugh obnoxiously. The sign of her actually smelling herself as if 'the virgin' was actually a scent was too much for Touya to handle, but somehow he managed.
The brunette rolled his eyes casually, as if it wasn't something that you did to offend someone and instead was pretty normal. Hell, maybe it was -- he did it a lot. Anyway..
"I wasn't serious," he explained calmly as if he was talking to a child who barely knew who to tie their own shoes. Touya reached up to adjust the cap on his head and sighed, but put on a smile afterwards -- a mocking smile, that is. "But that's fine. Everyone's a little slow sometimes.. Some more so than others."
After that statement, however, he went back to his usual bored expression as he listened to her go on about herself, well, not really go on, but it seemed like it to him. He wasn't interested, and that was that. "No, it doesn't ring a bell." And it was true. "But maybe you've heard of me. Touya? Champion of Unova for about ten minutes before I threw it off and resigned?"
