I genuinely don't know how much of this is the clip's beat slapping and how much is what I added but this was too much fun
Fuck a five-year plan, fuck a five-minute plan. I got the next five seconds on lock. Probably,
I want to start sharing some of my favorite music tracks on here, but I've boycotted Spotify (which I suspect most of Tumblr streams its music from), and use TIDAL (which I suspect few Tumblr users use), so I'm not entirely sure how to go about this.
I am trying to get over A) the cycle of coming up with big ideas I simply do not have the skills or sustainable focus to finish B) the shame of not finishing projects C) the frustration of living with all of these projects in my head that nobody else knows about I have been working on reducing project scope for quite some time, and I think I'm finally reaching a point where the design scope is realistic - not just for a developer in general, but for me. So, in the interests in ALSO addressing the shame and frustration, I think I am going to start aiming to do a WIP Wednesday where I share what I've been working on and its progress every Wednesday. No promises, but that's the goal.
First single drops tomorrow. Let's see if I can make and publish SOME form of art every month in 2026. I miss that kind of momentum.
Wasn't originally SUPPOSED to mimic an engine rev, and still think it sounds more bass than rumble, but I made this for a new song and it... works, I guess
Just a sketch that turned out really nice. I don't have use for another vampire OC at the present, but if the opportunity ever presents itself...
An earlier version of what would become Hydran's story was just him as a paranormal monster hunter. He sort of still does that, but it's wildly secondary to the main objective; charting the web of alternate dimensions.
Hydran, explored by tentacles. Only on Bluesky, sorry. Tumblr would have a conniption fit.
One of the only proper OC reference sheets I've ever actually made. Always meant to do this for more characters, but Hydran has details I CONSISTENTLY forget to draw (as you'll see over the next week)
The main character of the story I've been talking about for the last couple of weeks, Hydran Paulus. No paranormal abilities, just a dude. Only a major player in far more of a scheme of things than necessary because of bizarre happenstance and dumb luck.
(this isn't canon Lisco it's just a drawing meme from back in the day)
Ellis "Lisco" Cobin is a supernatural medic (among other things). He's a potential minor character for the future of a story I have yet to write, and acts as field support for "Varis"... who I don't have a picture of because I've never been happy with how I've drawn him.
