Finished the coloring for my entry to Gutter Space vol. 2 put out by deadcartoonistsociety.tumblr.com. I’m pretty happy with how it came out considering its the first time I’ve worked with dot toning. 

The story is a short comic about falling out of love. This is expressed through the repetition of the wife’s cleaning her husband messes.

This is an accordion book I made. It’s 60 inches long when fully opened. Its the abstracted story of two children looking for each other, wandering through a landscape created from photos of the 1930s and 40s until they finally find one another.

The book is made out of book board and several different types of paper. The whole book is held closed with cameo clasps and paper straps. The book pages are 3.5 inches high; the mounting block is 5.5 x 7 inches.

Here is a quick text zine I did for charlotte perkins gilman’s The Yellow Wallpaper. Its about three inches tall and is saddle stiched with staples. All the art is mine including the repeating pattern in the background. If you haven’t read the short story, please google it; its worth the read.
