Here is a quick look at my next big project that will be debuting at TCAF this year! Engaging with the Disnified concept of the Fairy Tale Princess, one who waits and is, in turn, rewarded for her passivity, the narrative's primary purpose is to show female agency in a fun and whimsical tale where a young girl takes a cross-country journey to find the mythical Library of Congress. “The Little Girl in Blue” is 16 page self-contained graphite and watercolor comic, the primary goal of which is to offer an alternative from the Disney fairy tale heroine, give readers an active, resourceful, girl who young girls can admire. Hope y'all like it!
