Not a surf report. Certainly not any indication of what Ocean Beach San Francisco looks like on any given day. Ocean Beach Surf's objective is to create an archival resource of surf media and info about San Francisco's Ocean Beach at it's best.

This is from late December. After surfing I snapped some photos of the peaks, particularly the bowling, barreling, beastly lefts. If you look close you can see a guy in the right place at the right time.

This Fall try out a new prescription! Once again @jeffdoclausch of Surf Prescriptions and his merry crew of RNs will be back up for a surfboard demo, Saturday Oct 19th (conditions permitting, cross your fingers). Of course, @aquasurfshop will also be cooking up some of da Doc’s famous carne asada tacos, toasting Fall with some cold cervezas, and music by The Sunset Roots Collective- so even if the surf refuses to cooperate we will have a great time with the Doc and crew. Octuber - Check out @withinwaves photographs this weekend at the carvesf.com sand sculpting competition outside Sports Basement at Crissy Field, 610 Old Mason Street, San Francisco CA. In addition to watching 400 tons of sand sculpted into amazing art, you can enjoy music, art inspired by surf culture, frosty beverages and gourmet food trucks provided by Off The Grid. Carve San Francisco brings awareness and funds to the Surfrider Foundation and Sustainable Surf. Nick Allen's work will be displayed inside the Sports Basement in a gallery area alongside the works of Wolgang Bloch, Charlie Callahan, Walter Blair Tom, and others...
