“You cannot convince people to love you. This is an absolute rule. No one will ever give you love because you want him or her to give it. Real love moves freely in both directions. Don’t waste your time on anything else.”
— Cheryl Strayed

What is the life without all the hate that builds all of us up. Without the love we alway fall
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

The fight between my anxiety & reality. Reality: - I’m passing college - I’m planning my wedding - I have a full time job
Anxiety: - I’m not going to graduate with a 3.4 or higher, and for some reason I’m beating myself up about it. - I’m not spending enough time planning my wedding, because I’m “distracted” by school or work. Therefore, I’m going to be a terrible wife. - I’m not working overtime like everyone else, therefore I’m a terrible employee.
I literally do this in therapy, and some how writing it out/ talking it out makes me feel better. Clearly I know I place lot of pressure on myself, but I’ve subconsciously wired my brain to place this pressure on me. Until recently, I’ve never been able to make myself aware of it. So now I’m working on re-wiring my thinking and the expectations I place on myself. Yay for psychology guys.
