why don't u have a category for demisexuality? u don't believe it's not a real thing, right..
I know demisexuality is a very real thing! Some people don’t experience sexual attraction without a deep emotional connection, and that’s a-ok.
However, when people are looking for OCs, they’re gonna want to know who they can and can’t ship with. For example, a female bi character can’t exactly have a romantic relationship with a gay male character, because the latter isn’t into that.
Having a major category for demisexuality will inform rpers that their characters really have to be intimate before starting something sexual, but not whether the character can be attracted to them at all. Besides, if they wanted to start a ship we can assume they’d be trying to get more intimate anyway. I think it may be better to include demisexuality as a subcategory, like “pansexual demisexual,” at least in my opinion. (Unfortunately, it’s rather hard to do that, as most rpers use only “demisexual” in their description, when demi people can be attracted to only women, only men, both, or all genders). However, if you’d like me to add a main category page for demisexual characters, I can do it.
