Not to be a size queen, but A1 is double the size.

Decided that all my gift giving is going to be around clothes making... Going to sit with someone, design a garment bespoke to them, refine the pattern, make it in their chosen fabric and then teach them how to make it using the pattern I made for them.

The gift of time and teaching a skill is far superior to any physical gift I could ever imagine.

Anyway, one of my housemates chose a pair of dungarees so we're tailoring everything to his needs. This is the result of the first draft... Not bad for someone who literally hasn't sewn for years and also has major anxiety around the skill they spent years refining.

What they don't tell you before learning to make clothes is how much ironing you'll be doing.... Like, I never iron my clothes, but when making clothes I'm ironing every panel piece to perfection.

Recently myself and both partners have gotten into parallel playing together.

Today I wake up from my usual mid day sleepy girl nap to find one of them working on her Gameboy game right next to me in bed and the other streaming magic from my desk set up in preparation for world's next week.

Later all 3 of us are off to the cinema together. It's crazy how over the last year this has become the norm.
