Do you still stand by all your choices? Everything you said to me? I replay it all constantly. I wish I’d said other things. Said more. Said this or that. But I still believe I was right. I’m still waiting for you to realize you were wrong. And isn’t that always the way?

The only thing I really regret is not trying harder. It’s not in my nature to give up on people. If you’d said you were sorry, said you would do better, I would have believed you again and again. Everyone else says I was right to walk away, so why can’t I be happy with that choice? Why do I still want to tell you I’m sorry and try to work it out? Why do I still care?
