Came for the Kung Fu, Stayed for the Kung Fu: Episode 6 of Into the Badlands. We commend the show for its ambition and willingness to take risks but can’t deny that, at least a few times, it falls flat on its face. Hopefully Veil will be the hero we all deserve in season two, ridding the world of bad guys one logical statement at a time. And if not, season two could always be a musical…?

How do all of the characters suddenly know everything?

Is Veil empowering Tilda?

Why does Quinn believe Ryder about Sunny’s betrayal, considering Ryder has been SO trustworthy thus far?

Has Quinn forgotten that he’s dying?

Did the tone of the show have to be this bleak?

As of the time of recording (January 2016), there hadn’t been an official season two confirmation yet, but AMC will be airing season 2 in 2017, so we can definitely look forward to that. Hopefully, we’ll get some of the answers we seek. And finally get out of the Badlands.
