*namjoon’s voice* Welcome! First time with BTS? ♡

When someone ask me about how my favorite type of music, the first one that cames in my mind is: K-pop! What? K-pop? Ok, I’ll explain it! K-pop is a music genre that cames from South Korea and is characterized by a lot of things like difficult choreographies, rap, visuals, strong vocals and concepts. In other words, is a mix of a lot of good things in music.

Nowadays, we have a lot of diferents girlgroups and boygroups, each one with their own style and they’re growing so much and getting more recognition not only in Korea but in worldwide too.

Now, talking about my favorite one: BTS (방탄소년단).

BTS or Bangtan Boys is a seven-member boygroup formed by Big Hit Entertainment and the members are: Jin, Suga, Rap Monster, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.

Since the debut, they are always talking about dreams and life in their songs. With beautiful lyrics and choreographies, they show the youthness and the idea of growing up. And I think that’s why I like them so much, because their songs these meningful lyrics and it’s important for us don’t stop believing in the beautiful moments in life, like they say.

Everyone’s afraid of changes Staying, moving on… staying, moving on We’re repeating the same things again and again I guess that’s life. — Move (이사 ), BTS.

And my favorite music of them is “Just One Day ( 하루만 )” cause the lyrics means so much for me and I fell in love with the boys when I watched the music video for the first time (THEY GREW SO MUCH).

They also realesed a new album called “You Never Walk Alone” with two singles “Spring Day” and “Not Today”. It have great choreographies and vocals so good! (their visuals are amazing too, just saying).

To finish, I just want to say that they are the most precious humans in this world. Really, they work a lot, put efforts in everything they do and because of it, they deserve only the better. The type of guys who are always smiling and showing their best. They’re amazing. (STAN TALENT, STAN BTS!)

In this rap, Kendrick Lamar tell a history of 2 guys that have reached the success, one of them is a NBA player and the other became a rapper! He claims that he is jealous of both… Both of them came from the Compton, a city located in southern states of California, in Los Angeles county. In this city the crime is overrated! In my opinion N.W.A was the best rap group I have ever listened, their rap’s had lyrics about racism, ghetto life and police repression! Kendrick was scared and jealous because he thought that he would never “Fly out of Compton”! And he was jealous not because of their talent but because he thought he was going to be another guy doing wrong choices and never getting out of Compton.The song is a part of 2012 album Good city, M.A.A.D City debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 241,000 copies.

Who says you're not presidential?

For me, music is not just a “set of sounds”, but rather one of several types of languages that we have, maybe one of the most special. Music expresses what many times we can’t demonstrate with words!

I like a lot of pop, both national and international, and today I will write about Selena Gomez & The Scene - “Who Says”

Selena Gomez is an American singer who started your career very early, but as an actress. She began on tv with the program Barney & Friends, but became known internationally with the Wizards of Waverly Place show, playing Alex Russo. Selena started your musical career in 2009 with the band The Scene, which split up in 2013.

I met her when she participated in wizards of Waverly Place (my favorite Disney show), and when she started your singing career delighted me so much that I’m fan of her until today!

"Who says" is one of the great successes of Selena, and could not be otherwise, the letter spends a very nice message to those who have no confidence or self-esteem and to understand that no one can judge anyone and no one is better than anyone. And I love this song!

"I’m no beauty queen/I’m just beautiful me” this section “speaks” what all people should hear, especially the girls. We should not care about standards of beauty imposed by society, our inner beauty always has to prevail. Beauty does not last forever, but character Yes.

Negative comments does not lead us anywhere, we must always hold on to the good stuff, and if it’s a song, even better!

Everyone has a "blurryface" inside of you

You probably already have listened “Stressed Out”, that went a hit in 2016. That handsome music is from Twenty One Pilots - an amazing band too - by Tyler Joseph e Josh Dun. This name was choosed by Tyler, while he studied a play about a man that has to decides what’s better for your family after he caused the death of 21 pilots (consciously, for the sake of his business) during the 2nd Word War.

About the logo, in a interview Tyler Joseph said:

“Means Twenty One Pilots.(…)I feel that the human being are always fighting, when it’s about a purpose, trying to descover what’s your purpose, or even what is purpose, what’s the meaning, justifying their our existence. Lotta people of my age fight “what’s the meaning” and about the logo, that’s what it really means, is an incentive.

The name of the last album, and mantioned (even implied) in some musics, “Blurryface”, is the opposite of lead singer, Tyler Joseph, has been described not as an actual physical character but rather as an intangible character living inside of him. Blurryface’s presence first became known on the track “Fairly Local”, about how the media criticized the depressing themes on the band’s debut album and Blurryface wants Tyler to change the music style.

In the next song, “Tear In My Heart”, the main message about how Tyler was able to beat Blurryface through the help of his wife Jenna, and how he felt that would mean a victory for Blurryface.

The fans thought the Blurryface’s battle was about the end, but 21 days after the realise of the last song - as the pattern -, a twitter account from Blurryface announced himself made the band change the release date, showing he still in the control.

“Stressed Out” became avaliable but appears to be the most complicated song so far in terms of it’s meaning. To sum it all up, the song message is that the Tyler is “Stressed Out” because of Blurryface, showed saying: “My name is Blurryface and I care what you think” and about Tyler to wake up from his dream and childhood

In addition to all this, smaller signs have also surfaced that reveal even more about Blurryface like Tyler’s black paint on his throat ans neck in all three music videos and concerts, showinh Blurryface “inside of him” (increasingly faded).

Another reoccurring theme appears to be the letter “G” left ou in all of Blurry Face’s messages. The “G” is about a teaser released three years ago about “Goner”, remaked and the last track of “Blurryface” album. Speaking sometimes directly to Blurryface, Tyler says he’s about to win Blurryface and then talks with another one - probably Jenna - asking for her help him to keep Blurryface out and to Tyler still be himself even in his musics. (I am literally feeling goosebumps).

After all, the band say their purpose to make music is “make people think” and encouraging them to find joy in what they believe in life.

Rock - Guns N’ Roses

Hello guys , today we talk about kind of music, and i will tell you about my favorite tipy of music. Rock is a genre of popular music that originated as "rock and roll" in the United States in the 1950s, and developed into a range of different styles in the 1960s and later, particularly in the United Kingdom and the United States. To be more specific for you, i will give some exemples , like , AC/DC(highway to hell), Aerosmith(angel), Deep Purple(smoke on the water),Black Sabbath(iron man),there are several other types of bands , but i'm going to dive into one,better known as Guns N' Roses.They are an American hard rock band formed in Hollywood in 1985. The band has released six studio albums, three EPs and a live album. Co-founder and leader Axl Rose and keyboardist Dizzy Reed are the only members of the classic line-up in the current Guns N 'Roses.I choose the song Paradise City by Guns N' Roses. I think that music involves me , evertime when I listen this song I´m felling good, fell like everthing was gone away . I recommend that music , is really great.

Country Music Me, you, she and the sea!

My favorite type of music is country music, because most of the songs are about love, they talk about relationships, betrayal, fights, romances, back to top, etc. I like this kind of music, and their tone too, it makes me good to hear this rhythm, I identify myself too much, can sing, dance, for me it's perfect.

And my favorite singer is Luan. Luan Domingos Rafael Santana. He is a singer and songwriter from the sertanejo, he is 26 years old, and he was born in Campo Grande (MS) on March 13, 1991. Luan has always enjoyed playing guitar and singing since he was little, he won his first guitar at the age of 3, and with encouragement from his father, he sang at school, and started singing in bars, church, etc. Luan made his first recording in Jaraguari where the main song chosen was "Falando Sério". Your friend had a copy and posted on youtube and eventually spread being approved by the public who started asking for the song "Meteoro" on the radios. Currently, Luan has 5 albums, more than 100 songs and thousands of fans.

I'm a fan of luan and my favorite song is "Conto de Fadas" because for me it tells a story that happens to many girls at my age, and I've even been through it, and I think he perfectly demonstrates this in the Music, that boys often deceive girls, or give them much hope, and luan portrays this in his music.

Music is something universal for me, a way of expression that reaches every single person in the world. Music is a way I found to be completelly unplugged from the world, that’s why I always loved and will always love MUSIC.

RAP is my favorite type of music, because it essentially talks about important and underrated subjects and problems in our society. But nowadays on this “new wave” of the rap, this subjects have been completely abandoned and rappers are talking about only empty and superficial things, like drugs, womem and parties. It’s rare to found a new rap that points to political or social problems. This change of direction was pointed by J Cole on his song “Everybody Dies”. Cole does not like the direction that hip hop is moving. At the song, he targets some of the main rappers that belong to that “new wave of rap” and exposes their leck of essence and respect to the people that hear their songs. And that’s why, in my opinion, J Cole is one of the best rappers alive even not being aclamated by the mainstream exactly because he criticizes these rappers.

J Cole was raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina and initially gained recognition as a rapper following the release of his debut mixtape, The Come Up, in early 2007. Cole released his debut studio album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, in 2011. And then his next two releases, 2013’s Born Sinner and 2014’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive, received mostly positive reviews from critics, while being both certified platinum in the US.

Pop the POP

I love all the types of music,but if there´s something that i really like is pop! When i start to listen to pop songs, my body moves with the music and i start to dance all around my room!

There are many singers in Pop ,but Jason Derulo and Beyonce are my favorites !

Jason Derulo is a 27 years old American singer! He has the best songs that I´ve ever heard! Since the start of his solo career in 2009, he has sold over 30 million singles. The ones that i like the most are “ Wiggle “, “ Want to Want Me” and “It Girl” .

Beyonce is just the best of the best ! She is a 35 years old American singer that is famous and recognized all around the world! She was recognized by the group Destiny's child in 1997 and in 2003 she began her solo career . Her songs are an inspiration to me and to many people! In my opinion, the best songs are “ Crazy in Love “ and “ Best thing i´ve never had”.

Music is so important to me and i like to feel happy and lively when i listen to songs, and pop songs makes me feel this sensation!

The type of music I’ll talk about is electronic. Why? I think the beat relaxes me and makes me happy at the same time.

I like all the types of electronic. But what I like the most is dance music. That it happens to be the same type of music that my favorite DJ. His nickname is Gigi D'Agostino. He’s 49 years old and he’s from Italy. He began his career with 16, in 1983 meanwhile he worked as a mason. He not only produces English music, he produces Italian music too.

Okay, now about the song. My favorite song is produced by Gigi too, it is named L'Anour Toujours. The track is also know by I’ll Fly With You and was released in 2000. This song is his most successful project and what makes me like it so much is the fact that brings me good memories. The beat is fun and I really identify myself with it.

Saving me from myself

Since that I remember, I'm a song listener. My heart beats like a metronome and my day follow the rhythm from my playlist. I never had a favorite type of music, I end up choosing my songs as my life routine. And a band who helped me a lot in 2015 was Bring Me The Horizon, with their heavy beat and the screams they helped me to leave the feeling of been chocking in my own words.

Bring Me The Horizon is a British band of metalcore born in 2004, the name of the band came from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl where the Capitain Jack Sparrow said "now.... Bring me that horizon"

My favorite album is "That's the spirit" that brings us songs like "Drown", "Throne" and "True Friends", the songs are about don't let your demons taking control of your life, everybody go through some problems and sometimes we just wanna give up and end this. I love music. I’m not a musician but music is part of my life since I was born. My father always playing song on his car while he drives, flashbacks, hiphop or even the radio. So I grew up listening to every kind of music. Music completes me. I listen to music everyday…when I wake up, when I’m walking on street, when I’m taking a shower, when I’m happy or when I’m sad, when I’m in love or when I’m angry. Music talks to me and understand me when no one else does. I don’t really have a specific type of music I like the most. I like all of them. It depends of my humor, of what I’m doing or what I’m passing through… music always guide me in my journeys.

This song “Born to die” from Lana del Rey, it’s one of my favorites. The lyric talks to my soul, it makes me feel good and it’s that type of song you just keep replaying. The beat is insane and the lyric is so beautiful. This song talks about her man and how in love she is with him but, in the end, they are born to die. It’s a great song. Everybody should listen to this woman.

When I was 15 years old, I had the pleasure of figure out her songs and her job, and in a week, I already knew all her songs and played it day&night. Everyday. Her songs ain’t just for moody moments, it’s for all the moments. She’s an amazing writer and singer.

I choose talking about her because she was the one who always understood me when nobody else did, the one who was always with me when no one else were. I love her songs and she’s extreme beautiful. Her life story is amazing. She’s the kind of woman that likes being called of “baby girl”, drink a whole Bottle of Wine while smoke her cigarettes, singing about how much she’s in love. This is Lana Del Rey. It’s deep, it’s intense. It’s gorgeous.

Eminem for me is the best rapper and i choose rap because Rap artists find short cadences, rhythms, and melodies that are potent enough to be compelling when repeated over-and-over. The goal is to be somewhat hypnotic and to build energy through satisfying repetitions. In addition, great rappers often have unique vocal timbres and employ subtle harmonies.

I choose “Lose Yourself” because this music portrays the life and the opportunities that we lose because we are insecure and that we must have the strength of will to overcome the obstacles of life.

Take me back to summer paradise

Music is something that is so important in my life. Sometimes just hearing the begging of some melody of one song just cheers me up. I think that life is funnier with music. All types of music are good but I always liked so much more the international pop and one band that for me is one of the best is Simple Plan. Their music is just great and they are very fun, besides all that fame, they never lose their real purpose, having fun.

Simple Plan is a Canadian pop punk band that was born in Motreal in 1999. The band is formed with five guys, Pierre Bouvier (vocalist), Jeff Stinco (guitarist), Chuck Comeau (drummer), Sebastien Lefebvre (guitarist and back vocals) and David Desrosiers (bass player and back vocals). They reached success in 2002 with their album “No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls. The band were actually invited to do the opening music of the “What’s new, Scooby Doo” and they appeared on one episode of the cartoon.

My favorite song of them is Summer Paradise, which tells the story about his summer love. He can’t believe he’s leaving already and he don’t know what he’s going to do but he knows that someday they will find his way back to her. It’s a really nice song, the melody is so good and I don’t know why it just makes me happy. Gives me a feeling of peace, of vacation. This song also reminds me that summer vacation ends, but we keep the memories.

They also have others amazing songs like “Perfect”, “Astronaut” and “Jet Lag”.

At least, I have two questions for you... Have you ever had a summer love? And would you go back to summer paradise?

Don’t let me down

“I think I’m losing my mind now”, I always got lost in songs, I always found music an easier way to face life, the routine and so on.And for me there was always a song which I could identify at some phase. Then, I identified myself with “Closer ”,the first song I heard from the band and, certainly, the song which I had the most passion for.But I’m still in love for all the other band’s songs.

The Chainsmokers is a band of EDM (Electronic dance music) its a duo of New York DJs, the band was formed in 2012 having their first hit in 2014, “Selfie”.They are coming to Brazil at this year’s lollapalooza festival.

I chose this band and this musical style for the simple fact of being sensational (in my opinion), with a lively beat and for me to identify with the lyrics.

I love music, listening and meeting new bands is a real passion and I think everyone should experience this love.

I listen to several genres of music but I chose pop music, because I identify with the lyrics very much, I like the beat, and the music can make me very happy.

I have a love for a band called McFly, they sing a rock pop, the lyrics are very good and they excite me, there are slow songs and songs that seem more rock.

Mcfly is a British band, formed in London in 2004 and to this day are together and has 4 members, 6 Albums, appeared in the comedy Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan.They became the youngest band to have a debut album first in the UK a title that previously belonged to the Beatles.

My favorite song is The Heart Never Lies.

I love this song because the lyrics are wonderful, it was written with a lot of affection and it sends a very beautiful message, in the music says that the heart never lies, however much we close our eyes and we do not want to accept what is obvious. The truth is that the heart does not lie and the eyes are the mirror of the soul, which often betray us because we want to convey an idea and the eyes show the opposite, as it says in the song.

Is it true that pain is beauty?

In the midst of all these musical types, I acquired the habit of look for new singers. International pop was always my favorite because with it, I entertain myself and runaway from my own problems in everyday life. So consequently the music became my right arm.

As I told I’ve heard and looked so much for new musics, then I met the singer Melanie Martinez, she immediately enchanted me, mainly because of her musics, that make an impact with various social critiques. Behind her words it’s possible to feel the sadness and reality of our society.

She has a strong personality, a unique style, and feels good with this, trying to ignore the patterns of beauty put in our society. That is why the music “ Mrs. Potato Head” it’s my favorite, because in this song Melanie criticizes the beauty dictatorchip addressed in us women since we were born, where we have to take pills, make plastic and much more, just to be accepted in a malicious and sexist world. Its’ how she says in this music stretch:

“Oh, Mrs. Potato Head tell me

Is it true that pain is beauty?

Does a new face come with a warranty?

Will a pretty face make it better?”

I like the fact that we can not only distract ourselves and relax listening a music, but we are also opening our eyes to hidden problems in society, and realize that no, not everything is beautiful. “Mrs. Potato Head” it’s a song that everybody should listen and reflect about patterns that we are accepting and ignoring.
