Because what’s there to be proud about skin colour? The Asian. black etc comment stands because people in general are proud of their selves regardless of the constant oppression they face. Once they go deeper with that term, you realize it’s their culture and background they are proud of. 

You can’t be proud of being white but you can be proud of a culture that comes from that, French, German, Polish and so on. 

So when you’re saying things like, “I’m proud to be white” you’re really saying, “I’m superior to you, I have NEVER been oppressed and I’m going to flaunt my so called “power” in your face and I hate anyone who isn’t white”.

People who claimed the, “I’m proud to be Black, Asian, etc” are only claiming they’re tired of being a minority and being oppressed and they just want others to accept them and they too have accepted themselves.
