his tone was calm and hushed. a bit hoarse actually. . . having not spoken in some time. it was best he spoke quietly for now. a soft growl at the base of his tone due to it.  his hand extended up to the cheeks of clint. his thumbs strumming his skin. he’d had been thinking of him all the time actually. imagining him. sometimes stephen needed to physically anchor himself to reality by touching. clint was actually in front of him now. . . a soft sigh left him.
