Clark’s Anemonefish

第一隻動物竟然是「Nemo」? 我學潛水之前以為小丑魚需要去到外國既海入面才會見到，但原來香港的大海入面都有牠們的蹤影！但牠們跟「Nemo」並不是一樣的！而且牠們也沒有想像中那麼可愛，牠們會游過來咬潛水員！

The first animal I chose is "Nemo"? Before I learned scuba diving, I thought I had to dive in a foreign sea to see clownfish, but it turns out they can be found in the waters of Hong Kong too! However, they are not the same species as "Nemo"! And they are not as cute as I imagined because they would swim over and bite divers!

Day 31 / Day 31 : Goblin Shark !!!!

Can’t believe this is the end of #Inktober! I didn’t think I could finish this challenge without missing any day at first, but at the end, I made it! Thank you @katekennedyart for creating an interesting list with so many unique animals that I have never heard before and I had a great time on searching reference photo and drawing them! The reason why I choose iPad to draw #Inktober is that I can force myself to improve my digital illustration skills! Hope you can see the differences compare to the drawing at the beginning of this challenge!

Day 30 / Day 31 : White-cheeked Gibbon

One day left! Female gibbon and male gibbon look so different among each other, I thought they are two different species at first!

Day 29 / Day 31 : Amur Leopard

They are listed as critical endangered and there are only 60-80 individuals left!

Day 28 / Day 31 : Pallas Cat

This Pallas cat is so fluffy and grumpy that it reminds me of the cartoon cat Garfield!

Day 27 / Day 31 : Grizzly Bear

Grizzly bear is one of the subspecies of brown bear. Hope this grizzly bear can get enough salmon for the day!

Day 26 / Day 31 : Rocky Mountain Elk

What a gorgeous deer with such a huge antler! Last few days for #inktober2022 !

Day 25 / Day 31 : Black-billed Magpie

This black-billed magpie is going to build a nest with the tree sticks it picked up from nearby!

Day 24 / Day 31 : Hawk Moth

This might be the only drawing that background objects are larger than the animal! They can hover in the air so some people might think they are hummingbirds.

Day 23 / Day 31 : Nilgai

This time I decided to draw a close up of this antelope instead of a full body size like my previous antelope drawings.

Day 22 / Day 31 : Mountain Lion

The first picture when I found as reference is not as interesting as this one! They hang on things like domestic cats but with a fierce look!

Day 21 / Day 31 : African Civet

Drew this when I was wobbling on the boat! The pen was so shaky but I still managed to draw it!

Day 20 / Day 31 : Cheerleader Crab

The cheerleader crab would keep the sea anemone and wait the sea anemone to gather food so the crab can scrape off for themselves!

Day 19 / Day 31 : Flapjack Octopus

One of the characters in “Finding Nemo” is a flapjack octopus! Every time I talk about Nemo with kids nowadays, they don’t know this movie, am I being old already?

Day 18 / Day 31 : Tawny Frogmouth

They try to pretend to be a tree branch which make them blend into the forest!

Day 17 / Day 31 : Elephant Shrew

Although elephant shrew is not a shrew, the shrew I saw in Hong Kong last time is quite similar to this elephant shrew!

Day 16 / Day 31 : Sumatran Rhino

Never knew there are rhinos with two horns until now. We need to save them before it is too late as they are critical endangered.
