Taki
Taki is a celebrated student because of his great display of intelligence. He is a genius at his young age, excelling both in academics and arts. Purely ahead of his generation- they say, and his peers acknowledge him for it. He was popular for this very reason and has taken the liking of his teachers because of his talent. He was a curious boy who enjoys studying history, and has always been encouraged by his teachers to go forward and explore things.
Unknown from the knowledge of his friends, Taki grew in a violent society where the law is easily violated without the query of the authorities. It was a tough time. Being exposed to this environment, Taki grew an obsession in achieving peace in all aspects of human perception. It was a goal that he himself made a promise to complete. Experiencing a violent environment as a child and witnessing the dangers of living, Taki developed a rational mind, always putting into account different factors of every situation with verdict decided based from his goals- to achieving a greater peace.
It was not much later when things started to change. These changes happened slowly that it was later for Taki to realize the accumulated effect of this situation. For some reason, he was slowly observed- for his actions to be used for the downfall of his image. But being the rational person that he is, he did not stop the situation and instead disregard the whole idea. However, his decision was a mistake. Because of the false information that was circulated concerning him, people started to talk about him to the extreme of hating and throwing rude comments on him. It was a mess. This continued outrageously to the point that most of his peers believe the false information without verification.
Taki found himself in a situation where his actions are forcedly misunderstood. Much to his surprise even his peers. This was undecided but this cornered him to act arrogant to deem himself the recognition he deserves, because solving that issue through saying the right thing would only add information to the issue, and this will not erase the first impression that was perceived. Just for a single unverified information, he was totally rumored and hated, disregarding his status and achievements. Being arrogant means directly showing them his accomplishments and creating a deep understanding of how ahead and advanced he is compared to them.
This action had isolated Taki from the rest of his peers, though he is always been seen as ahead of them. It was a difficult time for Taki but it made him realize of what society as a whole. A society generally rejoiced your achievements as their own and encouraged you to explore the unfamiliar with great support, but once a single fault is seen in you the same society generally disregard you.
Taki realized that being excellent has its own problems too. It’s as if that if you have power, you'll become isolated and eventually get arrogant, even if you were everything people wished for from the start. In a real society, being excellent somehow hinders those below you to be recognized. This creates a strain that breaks rapidly once it detects an opportunity to do so.
