Pen y Fan”the horseshoe ridge walk”

On one Sunday my R decided its time for Me and O for first proper #HIKING :) so it is backpack is packet, the sun was up, shoes put on and we ready to go. R promises to me and M that it will be easy. We start at  Taf Fechan Forest, views are amazing all the time you see 3 hills rising and waiting for YOU so you cant wait until you finally get to the top.I was thinking it a nice start.after 1 hr march we manage to take first hill CORN DU (873M)  at that point there is no coming back. Oh no O and M were really well.I could say that it is not a good route to take with small kids we were lucky because the weather was really nice sunny but a bit windy but you could see all.after another 2 hr, we were on top of PEN Y FAN( 886M) WOW.It was the first time for me and O.You are able to see whole Valleys it is really breathtaking. Cribyn (795M) we left behind because kids were so tired we could ask them to climb again.Our road back to the car was thru FAN Y BIG(719M)  the one with the diving board rock, returning via the eastern Neuadd Valley.

 It takes us over 8 hr to walk we did over 45 k steps one of the most demanding Brecon Beacons trials-AND WE DID IT :) it was the hard, but a truly special place.

 This is gonna be my first post ever so I was thinking that I could say something about me and my R.We are from the UK and we spend a lot of our free time exploring .R is a hiking freak and mountains are his favorite trip destination.I'm beach and seasides lover .we both like to see and explore around old castles .I will share some of our trips we had in past and of course new ones.I'm new to blogging and sharing the stories I hope soon I will get into it coz we had loads of AMAZING trips and I have plenty of memories to share …..
