Their parents had gone to some island because apparently Santorini’s beaches weren’t enough. They had made up some lame excuse in order to be let to stay back, one to many midterms, they said. The parentals had bought it and in consequence, now they were wandering around wearing what they pleased and enjoying the atmosphere without their parents’ critical eyesight on them. They had been enjoying their blunt, it had taken them more than a week to find a good dealer, when they noticed someone in their peripheral vision. “-Oh shit,” they lowered the smoking joint reluctantly, they couldn’t remembered Greece’s standards on the plant. “So you can either take a hit with me or call the cops, what’s it going to be?”
"You know I'm not going to call the cops on you nor would I do drugs," Astraea remarked with a little shake of her head, leaning against the wall as she raised a playful brow at them. "You should really be a little more careful though. Smoking in a public place, that's very risky." Even though she didn't do drugs, that didn't mean she would tell on a friend. Astraea has never been inclined in this kind of scene even if it was for recreational use only. She could be a little uptight when it came to these things after all.

Serenity patted at the pockets of her jeans to feel for her phone. “Oh no, not again.” The brunette never failed to lose her phone. How was it possible for someone to lose their phone as many times as she did? She could’ve sworn she left it in her right pocket. Or was it in the left one? “I’m sorry to bother you, but by any chance have you seen a phone with a white case on it? I kinda lost my phone again.”
Astraea was scanning the books that have been returned today when someone approached the counter, causing her to turn and look at them. "What type of phone would it be?" the brunette inquired, remembering one of her coworkers saying that there has been a white iPhone that has been turned to them and is now currently lying inside one of the drawers marked as lost and found.

Be the love you never received.

“Exactly. She’s harmless, you’ll be fine. C’mere, Baby,” he called, tugging on the leash and bending down to play with her a bit. “See? No blood,” he chuckled as Baby gnawed at his thumb. “You’re all good.”
Being reassured by the male's actions that she wouldn't scare the little dog off away, Astraea finally crouched down to her level so she could pet her gently as Baby gnawed at his thumb. For a second, she thought that the dog was going to pull away from her touch but it seemed like Baby was okay as long as her owner was there.
ellisgardner:
“Eh, she just bites playfully. Doesn’t really hurt, but I figured I’d warn you. She’s called Baby.”
"So-- uhm, it's just more of a playful nibble then? I think I'll take my chances with Baby then."
rosannapendleton:
“Calming. Yeah, that’s a good word for it. I don’t think I’ll ever get enough either. At least, I hope not. I don’t want this place to end up boring me.”
"I think I've read it somewhere that living near the ocean is a lot more relaxing and I don't think I'll ever get bored of this beautiful scenery. There's still so much to explore."
You blossom under kindness, don’t you? Like a rose.

ellisgardner:
“You can pet the dog, y’know. But I’m warning you – she bites. She means well, though.”
"W-would she really bite me if I just pet her a little? -- she's just too adorable! Does she have a name?"
rosannapendleton:
“Just– smell that fresh ocean air!! Have you ever smelled anything like it?!”
"It really is quite calming, isn't it? I'll never get enough of it."
